When people scratch their nails on a blackboard or something. Just that noise that goes, "Squeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaak!"

Or when people chew with their mouths open, like somebody else said on here.

Noisey eaters is definitely my number 1!
But i can't stand slurpy dogs either, especially when theyre licking naughty bits, eeewww!

Sally Something 04-20-2010 05:48 AM

The sound of a cat grooming themselves.
It makes me queasy for some reason.

This.
I HATE when i can hear people chew, its sooo disgusting, and it makes me mad, i usually either walk away from said person or tell them to close their trap while they chew. D: My friend does that all the time, and he slurps anything liquid like.

Spasmodic 04-21-2010 06:23 PM

You know what I have really come to hate? Cow moos :(

aragonkaylaa 04-21-2010 07:42 PM

PopRockSkittles 04-22-2010 10:42 PM

AomiArmster 04-22-2010 11:15 PM

the sounds of eating/clacking of dishes/ scratches on certain fabrics.
my main rage is the sounds of eating, anyone seen those recent kit-kat commercials?
they drive me up the walls, its so disgusting.
i used to hate the Carls Jr commecials too because of how they just focused on some person sshlomping and chewing on a burger. GROSS. gross gross just nnnnnnnnngh.

This has probably been said already, but babies and small children. The ONLY sound I can stand coming from a small child is a laugh, and only for so long. The rest of it -- screaming, crying, whining, tantrum-ing, mis-pronouncing, trying to sound smart, and so forth, I could do without.

I know it sounds cruel, but it is true. I strongly dislike all sources of sounds coming from the tiny, incoherent masses.

Fauxreal 04-24-2010 05:13 AM

SNORING! Right in my ear! *stuffs her boyfriends' mouth with toilet paper*

I just can not stand the sound of alarm clocks. They drive me insane. But yet they also do the wonderful job of waking me up in the morning.
Even if I'm watching a show and the scene is someone waking up to an alarm clock, it makes me cringe and I press the mute button until I see the person push the off button on their alarm clock.

Seconded. That's why I never set my alarm clock to buzzer... usually I already don't want to wake up as it is, but then to hear that inane "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP...." I just want to shoot it. Dx

Also, in general, I can't stand high-pitched noises. They give me a headache. This is even on TV... if somebody starts singing or screaming and their voice is too high-pitched... forget it. I'm putting it on mute. Though strangely enough, I will make an exception for electric guitars. :S

And I guess technically this counts as "high-pitched", but I'm gonna single out operatic singing. Particularly female opera singers... guys get to stay low-pitched, but female singers tend to raise their octaves so high I feel like a large silver knife is being thrown into my ear and then pulled out only to be thrown back in. If somebody ever took me to see an opera, I'd probably have to bring the entire Bayer factory with me just to get through it. X(

People shouting all at once D:
and when people click their pens when your trying to focus on something..

Dx

I actually can't stand to hear babies and little kids scream and cry it drives me insane. Especially when you're out somewhere and the parents don't do anything about it, they just let the kid go on and on....

PhantomLolita 04-28-2010 10:07 PM

Styrofoam rubbing together or against something, paper towels cleaning something dry...I don't know why....

Mariposa~rosa 04-29-2010 01:24 AM

fire alarms @[email protected] instant migraine after hearing one of those babies go off shrilly

Karvo 05-01-2010 09:11 PM

Noises; haha. Okays.

Nails scratching on something; yes, this goes for textured plastic as well. Drives me insane. Also, this guy I know's voice. I hear it and I want to stab him. o-O

Forsaken Eyes 05-01-2010 09:58 PM

People.
Not talking.
Just moving around, shuffling their feet, eating with their mouths open... :O
It bugs me.

funnybunny 05-01-2010 09:59 PM

i HATE it when people crack their fingers because its SO annoying and makes a really freakish noise. xD too bad my dad does it all the time. It hurts, too. I don't get why people do it?

Lysine 05-01-2010 10:32 PM

Anything repetitive and steady both annoys me and, without fail, gives me a migraine. Even the hum of a computer fan makes it impossible for me to get to sleep.

Louis duLac 05-01-2010 11:41 PM

Whistling and people snapping their fingers. I could never stand it. :/

Artemis-Sensei 05-03-2010 09:21 AM

The sound that a girl i know makes just before she starts talking in that "I'm a special snowflake" way.
It's hard to explain.
Oh and also the sound of the doorbell.
