i love to travel, I would love to travel all over asia and then europe. I live in Arizona, so any chance to escape this place, I'm taking it. XD

Larxene 02-15-2010 07:05 AM

I don't really like to travel too much, but I used to during the summers when my father was sent to somewhere to work at for a few months. My mother and I would go and visit him for the summer and than come home with him.

Draciolus 02-15-2010 07:15 AM

I love to travel, but only with certain people. Ive been to Portugal, Spain, Grand Cayman Islands, Jamaiica, Mexico, Florida, California, all over Western and Central Canada, and Ive been to Frankfurt Airport. I hail from Alberta.

I'd love to see more of the world, but as it stands, i've never left the shores of the UK. I have big plans for myself at a later date in life, but i don't know how fruitful they'll actually become.
Places i'd love to go:
China, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, India, Russia - Moscow/Amur, Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Africa, Madagascar, Aruba, Fiji, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Canada, Greenland & various places throughout the U.S.

Mystic 02-15-2010 04:28 PM

I'm from Michigan in the US. I've been to the Galapagos islands and east Canada up until about Perry's sound and as far east as London. I've not been too far west yet although I am planning a trip to finish east Canada and one out to the west. I've been all over the US and been to nearly every state except for Hawaii and Alaska. I really want to visit Europe and Asia I just don't have the money. I love seeing different cultures and different things. It makes life interesting. I would LOVE to visit Costa Rica and go into the rain forests there to see the wildlife.

Cherish 02-15-2010 05:18 PM

I like to travel in that I like to actually go to another place and sample other cultures once I'm there, but I don't enjoy the actual traveling, as I get really bad motion sickness in the cars, trains and buses, and I also get air sick and sea sick.

I like to travel, but traveling doesn't like me. :(

Vompire 02-15-2010 05:23 PM

Mmmh, actually I dislike traveling.. If I should choose to spend the summer somewhere, it would be at home, in front of my computer, but my family tends to drag me along anyway. I have been to Faeroe Island, Sweden, Italy and Germany. I would like to travel to Japan, but sadly I don't have the money to it D: I'm from Denmark, and I even dislike traveling in Denmark XD I just dislike being away from home. Maybe I'll live with my parents until I die.. =3

Alexial_Rose 02-15-2010 07:03 PM

I've never been outside of the country. The states I've visited are Hawaii, California, Montana, Idaho, Florida, West Virginia, and Tennessee.

I hate flying in airplanes. They are so cramped. On the way back from TN I spent half the time crying because my back hurt so bad and I couldn't even move because i was squished between the window and some old guy. :(

I also hate driving. Becaiuse then my butt always hurts from the long drive.

Over all I hate the packing/unpacking and traveling part. But after getting there it's fun. :D

Beetle 02-15-2010 07:48 PM

@kasmik: Australia was amazing! I did not see any Aboriginals. The New Zealand and Australian accents are sort of simillar, so it was not hard to understand them.

my first flight with airplane was awesome XD, we been eating something the whole flight, i had my own display with movies, series, music, games, internet and stuff, and the seat was quite comfortable XD (we were flying for 10 hours- from Frankfurt to Johannesburg )

....
btw i see that, lots of you are complying about not having the money,..well there are many hostels now (an they can be much cheaper than hotels ) , and low cost carriers ^^

oh^^
you "have" Māori(s)^^
how do they live those days, can they still live traditional ?:o

Beetle 02-15-2010 10:58 PM

Yep, They don't really live the way they used to in huts. They live in houses like normal people. They aren't really traditional anymore.

kasmik 02-15-2010 11:03 PM

oh ^^,
too bad

I am Okay 02-15-2010 11:55 PM

I love to travel to new places I have never been to! I enjoy seeing things for the first time! But honestly, sometimes I don't. Since I'm not sixteen yet, I have to be driven. I can't stand being in the car for so long, because it just--I always get carsick no matter what. If I stay in the car for more than an hour, I might start a tantrum and get crazed. :| sometimes I wish I didn't, and I always get this uneasy feeling and dizziness whenever I try to fall asleep. Falling asleep helps me shake off the uneasiness feeling a little of being in the car too much, but it's not comfortable to sleep in a car, to me.

I have never really traveled to any other states but California. I would really love to go to New York, and Florida. I really, really want to go to Disney World so badly. I do have to say I really love Disney lol. I hate being in planes too : O I think I threw up on a plane before when I was eight years old or something. The feeling was not great. I felt sad for the people who had to clean it up--I was young at that time and I guess I just sputtered everything out.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 02-16-2010 02:26 AM

I would love to travel all over the world. I have been to many states with the United States, and I have been to Canada and Mexico. This Spring I am heading over the ocean to visit Japan. :D

Clarise 02-16-2010 02:38 AM

I'm from the U.S. Two years ago, I went to Germany and visited Austria, northern Italy (Venice and Verona), and Switzerland. Then this past summer, I worked on a dig at a Roman fort in South Shields, England. I don't have a lot of money, so those trips were major for me (and both related to school...the first was because I couldn't study abroad with my schedule, so my mom and grandma sent me there. The second was because I'm a classics major hoping to get into grad school).

Anyway...I really hate flying, but I'd like to make it to southern Italy and Greece (you know, two very important places for a Classics major). Then I'd love to see Thailand or China.

pinkii 02-16-2010 04:10 AM

I love visiting new places but I'm deathly afraid of flying.
Luckily I've been to El Salvador, The Bahamas, and Puerto Rico - as well as various other states within the US, like New York, Florida, etc.
I plan to visit some parts of Europe someday - mainly France and Germany, as well as Japan and Hong Kong!
Maybe I'll be over my fear by then.

`Fallen 02-16-2010 04:34 AM

I would love to travel to Japan, I eventually would like to live there be it permanently or for a short period of time. I have traveled to Canada and a few states withing my country.

kasmik 02-16-2010 11:46 AM

I am Okay - Oh my! Some horrible experience. I hope that will change.

IkuAki - Mexico :D How was it^^? How long were you, what did you see? How are the people, poor, possible to live?^^,
Make sure to take lots of fotos when yo go to Japan^^ (How much will it cost you?)

Clarise - hehe You could also visit Croatia (my country ), we are basically "between" Italy and Greece ^^

pinkii - wow! how was in El Salvador and Puerto Rico? pretty countries? people?

:vicky:

Why is everyone afraid of flying? ^^,

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 02-16-2010 12:05 PM

@Kasmik- Mexico was alright. We didn't stay for very long (only the day) and we didn't travel very far into it; so we didn't get a big experience out of Mexico. I've heard that it gets better the farther in you go. But it was a very busy place where we were, lots of stores and people. Definitely Mexico. :P We had kids running up to us with boxes of gum asking if we wanted any. The people were decent though. Nice anyway. :)
Japan is costing us about 3,000 - 4,000 for plane tickets. The hotel is $50 a night (we found it for really cheap, woo!) and we're taking an extra 2,000 in spending money. I don't know if we'll bring more..
