This isn't a "dream" that I've always wanted to do. It's an actual dream I had last night. (I typed this whole thing, then realized I misread the topic.)

If any person/town could answer five personal questions about Michael Jackson, they could get a sum of his money because they proved that they knew him well. If you answered more than five questions right, you would get more money. The town in my dream answered many questions right, so they used the money to build a waste system (or something.) It just looked really huge and scary and had smoke stacks coming out of it and toxic waste. Meanwhile, there was a little boy in an old shop unpacking a new shipment of stuffed animal octopi. Then, the waste plant exploded and it washed toxic waste over the shop. The stuffed animals became giant monsters.

My friend and I (I can't remember who it was...or if it was even someone I knew. I think I made him/her up) started to try to get rid of them. We used lasers (I have no idea where we got lasers) and tried to attack them. However, they had lasers too! So we were in a school at this time, and I was hiding behind a mirror in the bathroom. The monster came in and shot at me with his giant laser, but when I shot back he didn't feel anything because it was so small. He shot again and hit the mirror, so I ran out of the bathroom. THEN, school got let out and everyone crowded the main hallway to leave school, but they saw the monster! Because there were only three buses outside, we went through the crowd of people and only picked the worthy to leave. The others had to stay and somehow hide or help us.

And that's when I woke up. At 7:30 am. YUP!

i used to want to be a princess.

now i wanna be an in demand video game tester.

Um my dream to be a rocket scientist is still in motion.. I'm working on my BA in Physics, but I gave up on the Aerospace thing. For the best, I guess. x.x

I have a lot of dreams... as of right now, I'll settle for a steady job, a stable home, and to have any emotional/psychological issues I have to clear up.

I wanna be a clothes designer XD!!!

When I was younger I wanted to make cartoons. And not just cartoons, it had to be beautiful cartoons, almost like anime. When I made someone a drawing, I said; 'Keep it! It'll be worth a lot of money someday!' I was really proud of myself, and everytime people asked me about my dream, I said I wanted to animate.

But now, I don't have the self-confidence to be anything like that.
Now I want to be a pastry-chef.

I wanted to revive this thread of mine to everyone. So any other interested menewsha's constituents who would love to share their dreams as well? ^_^

First off I wanted to own a candy store.
Then I realised I wouldn't be able to eat all the candy.
Then I wanted to own a pet store.
Then I realised I wouldn't be able to bring home all the dogs.
Then I wanted to be a policeman.
Then I realised I wouldn't be able to bring home all the other policemen ._.
Life's full of dissapointments.
Now I just want to retire and putter. It may not be much of an ambition, but it gets me through my working days.

I agree on you on that part. There are those things which we couldn't have because of some circumstances in our life, and I, too have some disappointments in life. But I think, looking on the brighter said of life, there are those things that we could say that we're glad it happeneds.

Concerning your last line, it doesn't have to be big. Dreams are something you wanted in life, and something your happy about. You have a nice ambition there friend.

At different points in my life, I've wanted to be an author, an archeologist, a manga artist, a paranormal investigator, a voice actress, and a college professor.

Nowadays, I simply have no idea whatsoever.

I dream of being on Broadway, and I've come close a few times but just never cut it. Dancing is my biggest fallback =\

Other dreams I had when I was younger was to be an astronomer.
Then I dreamed of being a musician (which I've accomplished by now).

Now, I dream of seeing my Ph.D hanging up on my wall and being surrounded by my beautiful husband and children <3

We're the same on dreaming about being a manga artist. I once dream that as well, but my drawings or sketch really are so bad....huhuhu...So, as of now?! I gave up that dream...hehehe:P

I dream of becoming a writer but it changed to computer programmer and making computer games. Then again, it changed to becoming an artist. But now, I want to have whatever work Bill Gates have.

Oh. I remember when I was still a kid, I wanted to become a fairy/anything connected to magic. Now I'm laughing because of that.

I am constantly dreaming that I'm in England. I know it sounds wierd, but it's the same dream each time. Has anyone had a similar dream?

As a girl up until a few years ago, I was fascinated by Paleontology...Until I realized it would probably be a lot of fruitless hard work in the hot hot sun. :lol:
I'm not a big fan of the outdoors (too messy, dirty, sticky hot, bleck), so I'm going to stick with attempting to be an artist and perhaps a psychologist.
I'd actually like to be a pharmacist, too though. Or actually a Psychiatrist...But damn you med school!!:illgetu:

When I was little, I always wanted to be a artist. I took many art classes, practiced in different styles and mediums. But then junior year of when I was in high school, my art III teacher had this vendetta against me. She hated my art, even though I was probably in the top three of the best drawers in the class. I pushed out many wonderful pieces that I still have and gave to friends. Whenever I show someone what I drew and asked what they thought the grade was, they said "has to be a 90 at least". Nope. All my pieces got 70's, even though I did everything the teacher asked. So, after that, I no longer became interested in perusing an art career.

Instead, I want to be a history professor. But I really want to teach WWII, since that's my favorite thing to learn. I'm already in the beginning stages of getting to this dream, and I will make it happen. c:

well my current dream is to go to the University of Oklahoma and study Meteorology and/or Business. Eventually i want a family of my own but before i do that i want to try storm chasing ^_^ i also want to be a writer and maybe a good musician. Another one of my dreams is to open one of my own Bed and Breakfast in New England which is where i live already so that might be easier to do....i think thats about it but if i think of more i will post again.
