I love my name. Christina Estrella. My mom meant for it to translate to "gifted star" but she effed up the spelling on my first name for that. But either way, it's a pretty sweet name. My name is Brianna Sevan Rhodes. My last name is pronounced like "roads." Since they only show the middle initial, many substitutes have asked, "Is Brianna S'Rhodes here?" People have mis-pronounced my first/last name as follows: Breeanna (sound it out!) Brianne ; Bryahnna.. Rose ; Rhods ; Rows ; Rhode.. It's not that hard, people! BREE-AH-NAH. It's a goddamned name. |
My first name is Joy and my middle name is Helene. I’m perfectly content with both.. I even love them now that I’m older. When I was little I would be picked on so much over my first name.

my brother's name is Beau Demeris pronounced as Bow Demeri then his teachers calls him Bayou Demeris or.. or.. Beyu Demeris... he just laugh at it because he's young,, but i tell you.. he'll be pissed in time... my cousin's name is Deux Konstatin pronounced as Do Constantine then again... he was still in his grade school... and his teachers calls him Dox or Jux... OMG!!! wth!!!??? is that even considered a name??? seriously?? why cant they read?? hmmm?? they're teachers for heaven sake |
People mispronounce my name all the time and it's so simple. My first name is Dina, and 9 times out of 10 the person makes it Diana or Dinah. Then, if I feel like correcting them (usually I don't to make life a lot less painful) I get something from the person like "oh, it COMES from Dinah (or) Diana," like I'm the one making the error about my own name. And since my name is short for Kostadina (like Constantine, it means constant/steadfast in Latin) it's not even true.
People never pronounce my last name right, and it's six letters long, two syllables, spelled phonetically. ._. Sad really. I But I like my names. =D |

I'm Meagan. I was named after a cat. My name's pretty generic, and people are constantly spelling it wrong, and saying a variation. I don't like or dislike my name in general.

My name's Lois. It's incredibly old, like Martha or Eunice. On the bright side my friends say it'll make my college app look better because 'Lois' somehow sounds smart...
