String Cheese

Hm, I was wondering if any of you have eaten string cheese, or other food item, and found those dorky little questions on the back? I want to know some of the questions you've seen that made you either: Laugh so hard, because it was just that stupid; or Cry, because it was just that stupid.

One of the riddles I discovered was 'What do you call someone who hunts corn?' Of course, the answer was 'A corn stalker'. This one just made me want to beat my head against the wall. How about you?

Codette 04-07-2010 03:58 PM

no I can honestly say I havent... tried it once from a friend... nearly threw up... gross little buggers string cheese is.

The Wandering Poet 04-07-2010 07:18 PM

I used to eat those mini taffy candies a lot, and the jokes.. omg they were horrid... XD I ended up not reading them after a while

musikfreakx 04-07-2010 07:55 PM

i love string cheese and laffy taffys. also, these popsicle things my family gets have questions on the sticks. i read one last night but can't remember what it said. it was so stupid, i wanted to stab myself to death with a plastic spoon O.o all of the jokes on things like that are horrible XD

Koraru 04-07-2010 08:11 PM

Lol, I haven't in quite a while! I like the random facts in Snapple, a lot more entertaining than those jokes!

The Wandering Poet 04-07-2010 08:13 PM

Ooh... forgot about Snapple @[email protected] those were good until I got food poisoning from one... developed taste aversion and haven't had it since. Random facts are always fun though.

Koraru 04-07-2010 08:17 PM

Wow! That really happened to you? Scary.... *stops drinking Snapple*

Canielele 04-08-2010 01:38 AM

I only use string cheese to put on my chips and ta-da! NACHOS! 8D

icandiee 04-08-2010 03:03 AM

Double Bubble gum, they had the little jokes or the comics.
Sometimes the questions are so stupid, but then sometimes it's actually a fact that you never knew before.
When I chewed a piece of gum of double bubble, the interesting fact was "Did you know that mosquitoes have 47 teeth?" I was like O____O;; that's a lot! I thought they only had one D: That's so much for that little blood sucker!

ziatenaj 04-08-2010 04:16 AM

My favorite are those jokes on the Popsicle that you have to eat in order to see the punch line. I can't remember any off of the top of my head.

Vickicat 04-08-2010 07:22 AM

Cheese.

I like those cheese things. XD But yeah, I've seen jokes like that on the packages of quite a few foods... They're always pretty lame. The most recent I noticed was on the paper of a fruit rollup a few days ago.

Louis duLac 04-08-2010 08:30 AM

I like to read the phrases on Jones Soda or Snapple caps whenever I stop to buy one. I wonder what brand of string cheese you buy, cause I've never seen any questions or phrases on the ones I buy.

Guivre 04-08-2010 11:06 PM

I read a really good trivia question on my shampoo bottle the other day (the answer was on the bottle of conditioner -- which is a clever/mean trick, if you ask me) but now I've forgotten it. I'll look and see what it is tonight.

Poppet 04-09-2010 03:13 AM

I know this is totally off topic, (because I havn't seen a lame joke, or any joke for that matter, on the back of a string cheese), but I just LOVED your attitude toward this subject. It's like those jokes on the popsicle sticks. "What did the orange say to the Apple?... ORANGE you glad I didn't say Banana." Oy. They make me want to just slam myself into a sliding glass door. =3

Black.x.Heart 04-09-2010 03:15 AM

I love string cheese.
The jokes however are lame, never read them really.
:)

Laila Izuka 04-09-2010 04:08 AM

I think that I read the backs of string cheese before, and yes, taffy as well. I don't eat either XD. But this one time I was picking up trash in my backyard. And there was this taco packet that I saw ALL the time. So I went to pick it up, and it read, "So we meet again", I couldn't help but laugh XD

melonmilk 04-09-2010 09:28 AM

In the UK, we had these little chocolate bars called Penguins. They used to have jokes on them, and they were always pretty lame. (But awesome at the same time, cus I was nine.) I can only remember one little fact: butterflies taste with their feet. -__-;

Firoren Slyshot 04-09-2010 04:08 PM

Koraru: Haha! I haven't ever had Snapple before, but my friends used to come to school with it all the time, so I do remember the little fun facts.

Canielele: I never thought of that before, Canielele! Hope you don't mind that I steal your idea. xD

icandiee: Really? 47? Now I don't want to be bitten by one. Not, of course, that I did before. But, my goodness, that's quite a few.

Louis duLac: Hm? We get Stringsters Cheese Riddles. They make for a good snack when you're on the run.

Alixness: Well, thank you very much! Wow, if I had a sliding glass door, I'd be doing the same thing about now. x.x They're cute jokes, I give them that. But for kids. And I think even kids are starting to think they're bit silly (in the not so silly way). I used to laugh at them when I was younger. Though, that may have been from sheer boredom.

Laila Izuka: Hm....stalking Taco Sauce. O.o They exist? You may have to start locking your refrigerator door at night.

melonmilk: I've never heard of Penguins before. Do they still have jokes/facts on them? Or did the company stop making them with them? Everything seems great when you're that age, and I'm not going to deny my fascination for the jokes/facts they have, or used to, because they were awesome. Back then.

So today, my String Cheese riddle is: What do you call a story about a school epidemic? (I don't know. Something like an epidemic could be bad. <.<; ) The answer is (I'm a bit scared to find out....) : A class-sick.

-Sigh.- I should have known better than to read it, neh? Oh well. -Munches on cheese.-

Polarys 04-09-2010 08:52 PM

Okay, first thing. Awesome thread! xD Almost wish I'd thought of it. Rofl.

I had one the other day: "What's is a tree's favorite drink?" And the answer was...-Dramatic pause.-...Root Beer! xD Great, huh? Iunno, I know they're meant for kids and such but even some of them seem a little far out, you know? e.e;;

YamiSora 04-10-2010 08:21 AM

haha sora loves string cheese but never found those questions....
sora has cousins who have those popsicles with terrible jokes on the stick XDD

Firoren Slyshot 04-12-2010 05:08 AM

Polar: Why, thank you, beautiful lady, for the compliment. It makes me happy that I can enjoy this topic with such fabulous people. As for your string cheese, that is quite an....interesting joke. Maybe we should send in riddle ideas and see what happens?

Sora: Haha. The pop sickle stick jokes are just as bad. I'll send you a link sometime so you can see some of the jokes if you want. ^^

[fox girl] 04-12-2010 05:50 AM

I don't like cheese. I loathe cheese. Therefore I do not eat cheese strings. o_O

Don't worry. I won't force you to eat any. ^^

Zombierella 04-14-2010 06:51 PM

I love string cheese! But, I don't recall seeing any corny jokes on them.

I always thought the jokes and riddles on the popsicle sticks were sooo corny, but kinda cute at times.

"Why did the boy throw the butter out of the window?"
"Because he wanted to see the butter fly."
