Ever had one of those days where something really unexpected happens?
Well today we had a swat truck outside our house, police is full body Kevlar, and automatic rifles. Don't know if they broke the door down or not, but they raided the house next door o.o (possibly for drugs?).
I swear this is karma for those obnoxious dogs they had XD
Anyways, share stories of stuff you never expected to happen??

Something that I did expect to happen was - when I was living with my mom (in apartments), it was the middle of the night, and then we all heard a LOUD noise. We didn't know had happened, until my parents went outside to see that someone had crashed into the apartment building RIGHT next to ours. This drunk football player from my old high school was drinking and driving. He crashed into the brick wall, the car hit the side of the apartment, and the guy apparently got ejected from his car. My parents called 9-1-1 'n such. And that incident landed on the news the very next morning. But hell, that's one that that I NEVER expected to happen. Now whenever I visit my mom and I'm in my room or something, and hear a car screech down the road, I get kinda paranoid that that is going to happen again @ [email protected]

Well, believe it or not, i witnessed a man being shot by the police, in my own departament. At that moment i was living with a friend of mine in a departament he inherited from his grandmother. The front door had a problem, it didn't close well, so if you pushed it hard enough it opened.
One day, suddenly, a man entered the departament in a hurry. He seemed very desperate. He ran to the rooms at the end of the hallway, completely ignoring us. Soon after, a pair of policemen entered the departament and told us to stay right where we were. They followed the guy, and as soon as they entered the room we heard gunfire.
Shortly after, they were removing a dead body from one of our rooms. One of the police officers came and told us that the guy had shot himself, which was an obvious lie, but i didn't thought it would be wise to point it at that moment.
What followed, was my friend and I cleaning the room where the guy had "shot himself". I know it sounds like something that would happen in a movie with bruce willis in it. We lived in that departament for a few years and then my friend was forced to sell it and we moved to separate departaments.

I can't really think of anything unexpected that has happened to me...
@Romulox: I'd be scared to live in an apartment where someone had "shot himself."

Three years ago would probably be the best example of something I never expected to happen. I'd been out of my apartment, getting some last-minute stuff for prom, and when we came back, there were three fire trucks parked outside my building. Apparently while we were gone, apartment had struck the apartment on the other side of the wall of my bedroom and set it on fire. O_o They got the fire out, and my apartment wasn't damaged AT ALL, by some miracle. But now I get freaked out by fire trucks driving too close to my apartment, and I refuse to leave important stuff at home, just in case something like that should happen again. v_v

I was raised Catholic and then became agnostic in highschool. I said there was no proof of God, so
I never thought I'd be Christian. I've been saved since July '09 :D

Well, I can't really think of anything at this point, but I do remember that there was a swat team at the end of our street once. I don't think they really did anything, they just sat there for a few hours...it was kind of sketchy, lol.
