So I found this ghost website and my boyfriend and I spent the whole computer applications class looking at it with a bunch of other kids.

It's called scienceofghosts.com.

There are some kinda creepy pictures on there. The one with the ghost boy in the window with the candle is really creepy! I don't really know if they're real or not. But I think that some of them might be real. But I'm not really good at knowing if pictures are fake or not, so I have no idea.

So: If you look at it, do you think they're real? Why or why not?

Yeah. They seem pretty real to me. Mostly because I have always been interested in paranormal things, and believe that it makes more sense than coincidences at times. So, because of that, of course I believe in ghosts. ^_^

Meh, they look real enough to me. Maybe just because I believe in ghosts, but it doesn't look faked, IMO.

I'm actually too afraid to look right now, cause it's late and dark and I'm about to go to sleep... If only I'd already moved out with my boyfran, I'd be able to cuddle up with him to save me from the scary pictures. So I think that proves that I believe in the oogy boogeys. I don't know if it's because I'm really Christian and everything that even feels of evil scares the shit out of me, or if I'm just really a pussy. But still, I can't do anything anymore. Hell, if I want to play Asylum626 I have to change the time on my computer cause it's dark outside from 6-6. And I'm really afraid of being home alone. :( But I'll definitely have to check those pictures out during the day sometime, and tell you what I think.

I looked through all the pictures, and some of them look like they were staged. Others, well, they are easy to explain through over-exposure, and double exposure. Then, there are others which are just natural formations that when looked at from certain angles, show a face/body/appirition. But thats just my view on them. And if ghosts really did exist, I think more people would see them, and that they wouldnt just appear in random places at random times....well, the random times they probably would.

I do believe in ghosts and spirits, but at the same time, I'm very skeptical of photographs. Mists, lights, and orbs, I'm going to automatically think are fake right off the bat, just because they're so easy to disprove -- smoke, reflections, bugs or dust. Now when it comes to other photos, well, you have to consider the integrity of the film, the camera, and the cameraman, plus whoever put it online, since there could be tampering both before and after the photo is taken.

Anyways, I think my point is that, while I do believe there is legitimate ghost photography out there, the majority of what you see online is more than likely fake.

I love paranormal research, I think it is very important that we continue to explore the unknown and that area is truly and definitely an area which we know little about. I liked to go out and stake out haunted places and see if I can encounter a ghost of some sort. I believe in them and have experienced chilled air and the feeling that someone is watching you or you feel like you are in someone else's presences.

I'd like to believe in ghosts, and the paranormal. There is just so much research and shows, and other things about them. But my friends have said that they have had a few ghost encounters. Nothing like that has ever happened to me. But I live in the area where the Pony Express and all of that was.

Though I do want to take a trip INSIDE of Alcatraz to see if I get freaked out at all, and if there are really demented ghosts there *o*

i believe in spirits but I'm always skeptical of pictures and videos... I still think they are super neat though!

See, I'm a total wuss. A paranoid, girly, 13-year-old wuss. I'm extremely paranoid, and these kinds of things start my paranoia up...

See, I have a terrible fear of being watched secretly. All it takes is for a person to pause outside my window, and I start panicking. And, I'm sad to say, this fear is so bad that I was unable to continue looking at the pictures after the 3rd one.

You know that one, it's titled "Man behind the wall" or something like that? That's the one that scared the living shit out of me! It's the 3rd picture down, and it shows a little girl doing...something. I forget what. It's probably one of the least threatening pictures on there, but it scared me too bad. I got halfway down the picture, and saw that dude peering over the fence. It was totally unexpected, I was way startled! As soon as I saw him, my instant reaction was to jump a foot in the air (and I'm laying down!), look completely away from the picture and hit the arrow up button until I was at the very top of the page, and then exit out as quickly as possible. O.O it was all an instant reaction, instinct!

So, I got 3 pictures through it before I had a panic episode, all because of a dude looking over a fence. When I saw the title, I got nervous, but I didn't think it would look so...creepy. Like, it just looked stalkerish, some disturbing dude with his eyes locked on the oblivious little girl...Gah! *shiver* and that's only really creepy to me, too, huh...
And it was the most likely to be fake, too, because it just looked like a real guy watching her, not a ghost.

I do believe in ghosts, and I don't. I'm not sure, in some cases I do, some I don't. For the most part, I do.

Maybe I'll try looking again, later...And skip that picture entirely.

I think this is all baloney, personally. I don't believe in ghosts in the traditional sense of things. If ghosts exist, they're not going to do stuff like show up in photos. There is no logical way for a ghost to be in a photo if the person taking it couldn't see it. No sense at all.
As to that website, most of those photos are amazingly easy to explain. Staged, or just looks like a face, a blur, etc.

WOOT! I thought I was going to be the only one who didnt believe in Ghosts. But then again, the only "Ghost" I believe in, is the character Ghost in Modern Warfare 2. :P

Yeah there is a possibility that ghosts exisit and it is scary. I've had a little girl say hello to me in my ear when i don't have any brothers and sisters. And I've had a guy yell at me to let the dog out, my dad was asleep.... ((o____o))

Course, Ghosts are real! My family believes in them! I can sometimes hear ghost. By the way, recently while I was laying on my mom's bed (without her) I heard a mysterious robotic voice. We didn't own a robot ever, so I'm assuming that was a ghost! My dad was watching TV, and my mom was clicking on the computer!

I think ghost stories are just a leaped to conclusion to explain things people can't quite figure out on their own. I mean, your robot voice. Did it actually say anything understandable?

Did you ever think that maybe it was the TV? 'Cause I mean come on. A robotic voice? It honestly seems a bit out there for a ghost...

I agree completely. And the point I was leading to, if you heard no intelligible words, it could easily have been not a voice. There were pipes in the theatre I was in last week that I thought were snoring for two hours. I spent 20 minutes looking for a sleeping person before I figured it out.
