I'm afraid of pretty much everything, but here's one of mine . . .

I still do it anyway, but it freaks me out every time I have to plug or unplug something. Occasionally I get sparks and I'm always afraid of the day I will be electricuted by it.

@the enchanted tiara- That is a logical fear and it one I do not possess. When I was a child, I ended up sticking my tongue on an extension cord (the end where you plug something in) and it was plugged into a wall. I ended up frying my tongue but I don't think I should fear it.

If someone was afraid of dead skin cells, I would pity them. They'd be in a near-constant state of fear, seeing as how dead skin cells are all around you.

We're constantly breathing dead skin cells. xD No one tell them that though, please.

Yes. I do.
But, it's for good reason, as being tickled until my lungs felt hot and about to explode was the method of choice by elementary school bullies.

No. I'm just grossed out that someone else's dead skin is up my nose.

The sound of someone scratching their nails on certain materials. Like, jeans. That noise. When I hear it, I actually lash out; I can't control myself. I just hit people if I hear it to get them to stop. xD And, also, I went through a phase for a few months of being terrified of windows. I had my curtains closed, and if there was a window behind me, I'd run out of sight of it.

I have a fear of stairs. And a growing one at that. I'm always afraid that I will fall backwards on a flight of stairs, and trip on the way down...And conscidering a family member just fell down the stairs and nearly killed herself, that fear has grown even more.

Water. Could have been dinosaur pee.

In case it's not blatantly obvious already.

Now, air is dirty. Water is dirty. All that's left is food. It used to be stardust. That's cool I guess.
But then again, everything was stardust, by that definition.

We can make food disgusting, too, though. Plants grew out of manure. Insta-gross. And if you're eating animals, sea creatures swim around in their own waste, and no matter what kind of meat you're eating, it's all muscle. Which is gross.

Arachnophobia is an interesting one, and it's also a movie about one man's fear of spiders or rather arachnids. It's one hell of a movie, and after an experience like that I would be afraid of spiders as well. I know miss muffit was who was sitting on her tuffet eating her curds and whey LOL!!

Not to mention you never know what kind of stuff could be lurking within your food. Just think about what a tape worm is for a minute.

I already have a fear of parasites. You don't need to remind me.
It's one of the main reasons I don't eat pork. My biology teacher showed the class a slide of a piece of pork that was infected with worms. I guess it's a good thing I've never liked the taste.

i'm afraid of hights. in of itself that's not odd. but i'm REALY scared o hights, i mean, who else would look at the ground after a growth spurt and get dizzy from it... ? :) of course, the higher it is, the worse. and ironically i love mountain climbing.

Don't scare me off pork. I love me some pork. :( Just cook it properly?
