We have all done it, don't lie. Every now and then we pick up a pen or pencil and start slightly chewing on it. Rather it be because you are bored, hungry in class, or thinking of what to put on paper. Post the things you most likely chew on. It can be pens, pencils, erasers, pen caps, or even things like your fingernails, or the inside of your cheeks too, etc...

People chewing on pens/pencils is kind of a pet peeve of mine. I have done it before absentmindedly but I'm always disgusted with myself. xp
I use to be bad about chewing the inside of my cheeks. Sometimes I'll chew a tiny hole at the end of the sleeve on my long sleeved shirts. This reminds that I should chew more gum.

Most of the time it's my favourite pink/green pen or I chew on my nails or the inside of my mouth like you said hahaha.
It sort of annoys me sometimes cause it's like grr why cant I stop!!! But yeah

Sometimes I wish I could stop too, but then I'm in class and it's like, an hour before lunch time and I'm hungry... I start biting the inside of my cheeks and stuff. And then i end up destroying my pencils afterwards. :lol:

i used to chew pen caps really badly, then pen ends. I hate chewing pencils!! ugh you get bits of wood in ur mouth... lol
but i chew the insides of my cheek a lot... im not really sure why lol

The little ropes on hoodies are my weakness. I chew the hell out of them, along with the end of the sleeve. They don't taste like anything, I just really like the feeling of something between my teeth.

lol I do it absentmindedly. I'll be working on something, and suddenly I realize that I've been chewing on my pen the whole time. And if I'm actually working, I'll chew the pen cap. Every now and then I'll chew my pencil....but I don't like the taste of wood and the mechanical ones have that paint that comes off and I'm like ".....I have no idea if that's toxic paint....>.>" So I mostly just stick with the pen caps. I also chew on straws at restaurants. XD Once my drink is done, I chew on the straw....

Not much else, though.... I guess I'm just a fiend for plastic. hahaha

As a child, I chewed on everything, especially pens and pencils.
When I was very little, I even chewed on my own hair. Yuck.

These days, I'll occasionally bite my nails if I'm really stressed out - but that's about it.

I chew on nails, on pen lids, on hair sometimes, and on the dead skin on my fingers. Yup, I'm special. :P

Oh gaaaawd.

I remember writing a paper, and I suddenly got anxious because I couldn't figure out what the heck to write next. ._____.
So I bit realllyyy hard on the end, and suddenly, my mouth was full of blue ink.

I don't chew on pens, but pencils still. >>
In order to avoid hurting my teeth too much though I usually have a piece of gum in my mouth..if possible..xD

Chewing on the dead skin on your fingers? I used to do that when I was younger, but then I started to play the guitar. And the callusses build up on the fingers from being on the strings so much, I didn't want to chew them off because without them, my finger tips would hurt when trying to play the guitar again ( Just so you know, I finger-pick, so there callusses on all my fingers)... So there's one habit I have dropped....

I've chewed paper in the past, real fibrous that. My friend chews up plastic forks and turns them into shreds. XDD She's a real gem, that one.

I used to chew on nails. So I put some color on them (which has a really bad taste and stops me from putting my fingers in my mouth)
So these days it's usually pens that I chew.
I once bit off a chunk of pencil because I was really pissed off at the time! But it caused my teeth to go black :oops:

I've tried putting nail polish to stop me from chewing and biting my nails - that doesn't work. I've tried tobasco sauce - and I discovered that tobasco sauce is just REALLY DELICIOUS lol! I love spicy things. XD

I normally nibble my lips rather than chew my pens, though I used to be really bad for that. I don't even know why. I coudl pretend I was thinking, but really my mind was wandering, though I wouldn't say it was boredom either.

Though yes, I do tend to chew pens.

Not so much pencils because the paint flicks off and tastes gross, and chewing a rubber just seems gross :lol:

Sora chewed everything when he got bored...............but biting nails is the #1 thing Sora likes to do apparently XP..........such a bad habit >.<

haha I've tried to stop biting my nails by using nail polish... but its fun to scratch the polish off

I have a habit of chewing (but not biting off) my nails, mainly my long thumb nail XD, and I've started chewing on the inside of my cheeks. I didn't know that other people did that as well =O. I did on the other hand bite my nails off a long time ago. It was a bad habit. And one day, I just stopped altogether. And how I did so was by telling myself to grow my nails out long. And I have long nails now 8D (sometimes people ask me if they are real as well O.O)

I don't recall chewing on pencils. I might of done so when I was young. But whenever I remember finding a chewed up pencil or pen, I just thought that it was gross. Though I do, when drawing, have a habit of holding my pencils in my mouth. Mainly the one that I'm using. I'll grab something else to use for a moment, and put the pencil in my mouth. OH! Funny thing about this is - whenever I'm erasing something, and I'm holding a pencil in my mouth. I'll go to blow off the eraser shavings from my paper WITH the pencil in my mouth. Epic fail, ya, I know XDDDD

Um, I kinda chew on the top of my cell phone o3o

Hehehe. I too sometimes chew the antennae thing to my cell phone... XD

Oh, my phone doesn't have the antennae thing. I meant that my cell is a flip phone. So I'll have it open, and I'll gnaw on the top part of it XD
