She is fighting with my mom and I am pretty sure that she woke my step-dad. GOd I hate teenage drama. I wish that all this stuff would stop cause the yelling and screaming is keeping me from getting some sleep. stressed gotta keep calm though cause I do not wanna get in the fight.

Thanks, Now I will try to fall asleep seeing as it is midnight :feesh:

Oh, to be young and think that midnight is a late time to fall asleep. :3 College has wrecked my sleep schedule beyond repair, and working late nights only helped.

Now, by toy dog do you mean a dog that is in the size category known as "toy," or a fake object meant for children to play with?

Teenagers aren't the only people who pull that kind of stuff. My mother had a similar episode last week over a noise maker. She threw a tantrum because I took it away. She turned off the electricity in retaliation. :-x

My grandmother used to do that sort of thing all the time when I lived with her. She was narcissistic, and if I didn't bow to everything she wanted she would throw a fit like a child. She taught me how to deal with someone far more immature than myself...and then she kicked me out, so I don't have to deal with it anymore! I'm actually a lot more happy and less crazy now that I'm out of there.

I know how hard it is to put up with someone who refuses to act their age, is what I'm trying to say.

And people wonder why my faith in humanity is so low sometimes. *shakes head*

I'm actually quite the opposite. I'm the only friend of mine that I know that's on the "Humans actually aren't that bad" bandwagon.
We have T-shirts. :D
...but not really. That just seemed good to say there for some reason.

Anyway, people spent their whole lives thinking that when you get older you become grown up and mature, but it's not true. I've seen 50 year olds gossip like high schoolers. Hell, when I worked at Wal*Mart the drama in the section I worked was awful. Everybody hated each other and said mean things about each other behind their backs, and I mean everybody. Even the managers would just gossip and complain and insult.

The point is that the difference between childhood and adulthood is that the idiot who insulted you every day is your boss instead of your peer. >.> That's why you've gotta focus on the positive.

People just get mad sometimes. I don't think it makes them horrible people or that every time someone is screaming that they are being immature. That feeling exists for a reason.

You're just not telling the whole story. Like, one time, my cat someone was physically abusing and I threw a fit over it myself. They said I was overreacting, but if you're going to abuse an animal in front of me and think I'm going to be calm about it, you better think again.

It all kind of has to be taken in context. Is it a toy dog like a little dog or a toy dog like a stuffed animal? And what sentimental value does it have for the person and what is the person doing with it?

I'm sorry you can't sleep though, but I don't blame your sister for it. I blame whoever is harassing her and picking on her unnecessarily.

Most teenagers are full of crap. All they do is wine, thinking that they should live for the moment. (wth) And believe me, I was apart of that. My one friend...her and I used to get into a lot of pointless dramatic fights. Then one time, it came down to a guy we were fighting over. If it wasn't for being selfish and more of a friend, I would have just let her have him. XD Damn...when they want something...THEY WANT SOMETHING. XD

My sister's the same way. ....and my stepsister. They think they're owed something that they really aren't. I mean, I agree that everyone is owed a couple things....like a certain amount of basic respect. But not much more. My sister throws tantrums over the dumbest things. She gets all mad at her homework and refuses to do it because she thinks that she shouldn't have to on the basis that her teacher "is just stupid." Uh..hello? The teachers went to school for YEARS to sit in that classroom and try to teach a bunch of you ungrateful kids. I try to reason with her, and she goes on about how all he does is rant. When I ask if she's ever actually tried to listen, she just gives me this "are you stupid?" look. T_T

And my stepsister is dedicated 100% to taking any money-making opportunities from neighbors away from us, even though she can't even do them. She has huge fights with her parents over how she should get all this money, just because she likes to have money. In fact, she likes money so much, she seems to be under the impression that I'm out to take it from her or something. Honestly, I'd rather earn my money honestly. By getting a real job and not arguing with some stupid high schooler. She argues with my sister, too. 'Cause heavennn forbid she give my sister more than 1 square foot of space in the room they're supposed to be sharing. I get so pissed off listening to everyone argue in that house. T_T Someone's get hit next time I have to interfere, for reals. And I've warned my dad, too. So it's entirely their fault. D<

Soo..ya. Teenagers can be major snobs and whiny brats. I've been there, but....I'd like to believe not to that extent. I never decided to fail a class because I didn't like a teacher, or get into fights with my parents over something stupid like money. I at least picked cooler things to argue with my parents about. Like how stupid they were being by fighting over the phone all the time, and how forcing me to go to church every week wasn't going to make me like my dad any more and how it might not be such a horrible thing to explore other religions. I never bothered with arguing with my dad too much over my wardrobe. I knew I wasn't wearing anything horrible, so I wore it and let my parents argue over that. I win regardless.

I am a believer in beating the shit out of your kid so they don't grow up to be bigger pieces of shit in the long run. Backhand your sister, she'll thank you for it later.

lol I don't like hitting people if I don't have to. ....But I'd rather beat on my family than have someone else with a much more malicious intent do it instead.

Sorry Queen, but all threads in the GD have to have a discussion topic. If you're just looking for a place to rant, rave and scream, it might be a good idea to start posting in your blog.

Or if you're looking for advice, check out our Life Issues forum. Lots of people there can help you with your problems.

But since there isn't much room for conversation here, I'm afraid that I have to lock this place up.
