I love to go to new places, especially small little towns with a lot of charm, but I have to admit I still love Disneyworld the best. :vicky:

I like Portland, Maine because they have the best lobster rolls and so many fun comic books shops...

I loved my vacation to the East coast of Canada. Peggy's Cove is a must see to anyone visiting that area!

For holidays I usually go to Majorca or Menorca. I'd like to go to Barcelona in Spain and Rome in Italy.

I live in Niles, Ohio and my parents don't really ever have the money to go on vacation. But at times, we DO go up to Geneva on-the-lake. :) It's so nice, cheap, and relaxing up there. Plus you always have a good breeze going. There's plenty of karaoke places and it's just and awesome place to walk around. :D

My favorite vacations: going to folk music camp with my mom when I was a kid. I got to run wild in the forest for a whole week, listening to music from all over the world, hanging out with musicians and their crazy kids, and being dirty, and it was DA BEST!

That camp still happens every year, but it got too big for it's britches and it's just not the same anymore. I miss the way it used to be when it was small.

I think the coolest vacation place I've ever been to was Sienna in Tuscanny, Italy. It's not a small town, but it's definitely not big. It's just a normal town, but it's all built around the stone town as it existed in the renaissance, so the heart of the town is a beautiful cultural sort of heritage site. And there's this awesome festival twice every summer where all the different sectors, or Contradas, compete against each other in a horse race, and it's really really cool. Dozens of parades, the whole town is decked out in people's colours, lots of singing. It's really awesome.

I'd have to say the beach. Whatever beach. Usually the closest one, Cocoa Beach. I live in Orlando so places like Disney aren't that exciting to me, I've been to Disney many times and since it's right in my own city it's not a vacation. It's just an expensive way to spend the day. I have to admit I don't enjoy most vacations because most are spent with my parents, which is a real drag. Something always happens where we get annoyed or mad at each other, it never fails. And being in a tiny hotel room with them sucks. The vacations I have enjoyed the most were the ones that didn't involve them, like the time I went with a friend and her family to the gulf and the time I went with another friend to another area on the gulf, the time I visited my boyfriend in New Jersey and got to go to New York City, as well as getting to go to the beach with another friend of ours, and the time my boyfriend and I spent a few days at the beach together. Those were really nice and I had so much fun during all of them. During the winter I enjoy going skiing though, but it is definitely not my favorite place to go. While the skiing part is fun, the rest of the time isn't so much. We always go to this tiny little area of Georgia on the North Carolina border and it's all small southern towns with nothing to do.

I would not name one place as the more I travel the more I could unveil the ups and downs of the place. I went to a place called Kangaroo Island ,right after my exam, with uni students as volunteers. The purpose of the trip was to plant trees and the trip was for three days and two night. We managed to planted 35000+ in a day and we did the plant on second day. Foods were top notch and the accomodation was superb! We also went to lots of places! the down was that it's hard to get phone signal ... No fb or I ternet :gonk:

instead of having holiday I rather joinstudent exchange which I could choose which country I would go for exchange! It's like study while holiday!
