Schools where freshman get picked on still exist?
Every girl looks 40 and every guy looks like a wannabe rapper at my school so no one can tell who is in what grade. :P
I'm going to be a senior, and I think the big deal everyone makes about high school is just hype.
I guess one just sees it that way when one isn't brainwashed. :P

I'm going into ninth grade. From what I've seen, everyone's nicer, but the popular, mean people arent there yet.

I will be in the tenth grade and I am not nervous about it one bit. It is school. It is high school. It is my second year in high school! What is there to be nervous about?

I'm not nervous this year, since I've already been at the high school for an entire year. I always do worry a little that I won't be able to find some of my classes, though.

ill be a senior, wouldnt really care except for the fact that i transfered to a new skool where i pretty much kno nobody... so yes im very worried :x

That is I'm a senior in college. I'm worried about work load but otherwise its the same ol same ol.

I have no idea how the american grade system works.
But I can tell that I'll be going to my last year of high school after this summer vacation.

I'm going to be a junior! Of course, I'm sitting here in summer school taking classes to earn credits for classes that are required but don't fit in the school year, so I can't say I miss school. Hehe. xD

Also, I'm taking way too many AP classes next year, and I'm both excited and extremely nervous because two of them are supposed to be extremely difficult.

I agree fully about not choosing courses based on friends, by the way. I don't think I've ever done that. I choose courses based on what I think will help me later in life or what I think I will enjoy. Other people should become more motivated and do that too. Even if that means taking business classes or cooking classes or whatever, it will be helpful later on in life if that's what you want to do. Even if you go to college and have to take such classes again, it will give you more time to enjoy life (or take more difficult classes too) because you have a head start of sorts. At least, that's my belief.

I've been out of school for nearly four years. High school I've been out of for eight years. College never really did me very much good.
