Rain, rain... go away.

SO! You all must know what it's like. You've got a nice summer day off (from school, work, which ever makes sense for you, etc.) and you wake up, open the currents and see... everything is wet, gray and chilly. Now, I'm not one to be upset by the rain (I actually prefer rainy days to sunny days) but that aside, what does Menewsha do on rainy days? :)

Clair does a number of things, but she likes to write and read, watch the occasional movie or TV show, and of course, Menewsha. :)

I...don't really remember. Most of the rainy days we've had have been while I was in class. T_T And now it practically never rains. I WANT RAIN! I need to clean, and go running and stuff. It's been too hot and humid to do anythingggg. So we don't cook, I haven't done a lot of physical activity..and just...blah...

I do what I do on any other day. Sit in my room with my laptop and iPod. Lurk on Gaia and Mene and play games on kongregate. I have no real outside life. I don't go out with friends and I hardly ever go outside, especially when it's hot because the humidity makes it hard for me to breathe (damn asthma).

I actually love light, sprinkling rain with distant thunder and lightning. It's soothing to me. It's supposed to start raining here any minute!

hehehe I like Huge BOOMING thunderstorms. They're so crazy and awesome...Usually helps me go to bed earlier, too, 'cause I like to fall asleep to the sounds...

Weather doesn't affect how I live. A couple days ago I needed to walk to my friend's house to get my coat even though it was cloudy and dreary. Unfortunately that turned into rain, then a full out storm. I got soaked through. The best part is, about 15 minutes after I got to my friend's house it stopped raining. xD

I love the rain! It makes me very tired though. I like to play me some Zelda on my lazy days and sometimes I'll play some Wii games with my dad xD

Well I live in the second rainiest town in the country (lucky me) and when it rains as much as it does here we just kind of get over it. we go out in the rain and run from building to building, rather than amble like we do in the sun.

HappyStarr 07-12-2010 02:55 AM

Woahh....could you send some of your rain my way? We're suffering in this drought.

Which country?

I don't know.
I choked rain in its sleep.

@Hermes. New Zealand. That means not a whole heap of towns to choose from, and the rainiest is only two hours drive into the mountains.

Well, where I am (Scotland), it's the summer holidays, and it's been raining at least once a day for at least a week now, yesterday it was really bad though. But usually in the summer time it rains a lot, which annoys me, it just gets so boring. If it isn't raining, it's really dull and grey. But usually I go on the computer or write, or maybe draw for a while. It helps to pass time. Or if it's just really dull, I might arrange to meet up with a friend.

Carzeebear; Ahhhh. I figured if you lived in Canada or the US or something you'd be in a pretty darn wet place. Is New Zealand a wet place?

Bearzy 07-13-2010 12:47 AM

Well... NZ has a very varied climate. For example, my town rains usually every day or two and always at least once a week. I live in a rainforest. 3 hours east we have the plains. with far more extreme temperatures and it's drier. To the south we have scrublands with the hoar frost, which kills everything (ironically, in summer that's where the fruit is grown) On the north island I'm not so sure what it's like, but it's a similar set up.

I normally write or play games if I do not have anything else to do. I also sit inside and just watch my reptiles a lot too. XD
