Ever feel like you completely kill a thread? For instance, you post in a thread, saying something you think is hilarious and completely witty.. Only for there not to be a single reply in a long period of time?

That happens to me a lot, and I kindasortareallyyy hate it. xD

I am a thread killer too! I tend to post late at night though so I think that has something to do with it as well. I hate when you expect and answer though and no one posts int eh thread again.

I do that too, but my mind doesn't register it as being late at night. I just freak out a little and wonder, "WHAT'D I SAY WRONG?" xD

Me too! Not so much on Mene though but on Gaia. I lurk through CB and whenever I post there everyone flees. I'm scary. >:

I didn't experience that as much as Gaia (that I remember?). But back on Gaia I rarely ever lurked in GD or anything. I mostly stuck to roleplaying in guilds and such.

I am a thread killer only on gaia a few years ago I was in a rp on gaia. sometimes if I post then no one would post for a a wile I would ask if I killed the rp. it's a bit funny to me now that I think about it lols.

Oddly enough I was just thinking to myself, a little while ago about the very same thing. Often I'll reply to something and it'll take days, or even weeks for anyone to reply. Its like oh great I up and killed the thread! Wouldn't it be ironic if this thread ended up being killed too? XD

xD That would be pretty ironic! Sadly, it will most likely happen. I don't see this becoming an epicly huge chat thread, where thousands of Menewshans come to share stories of their murderous ways -- and so, it shall die soon enough I'm sure. :C

I think there's a hangout somewhere on Mene dedicated entirely to people who do that a lot. xD I ended up in one of their threads in the last event.

You are completely not alone. That is how I feel almost every time I attempt to talk and make a thread.

Ah you never know it could probably become epic for a while. By the looks of it we have a few murderers on Mene already XD

oh man, for awhile here on Mene I thought someone had put a thread killing pox on me. No matter what the topic, how long the thread it seemed like as soon as I posted any and all activity died. I was so convinced I was killing threads I turned to lurking!

I've done that in many role-play forums. I reply to a post and wait... Nothing comes for days... It annoys me when it happens... Especially when I'm really into the story.

I kill threads all the time.


But logically, I'm usually online when most people aren't.

Amen to being on at odd hours! Because of the time zone I'm in this is a constant problem. :P

I'm not really a thread killer per say. I'm more of the kind of poster whose comments get skipped over and unrecognized. Feels the same...

Not really. I usually just leave a post or two here or in Life Issues. I take my conversations over to a hang out thread that's always jumping around.

I'm a thread killer. Hehe. I have about three threads now where I'm the last poster and no one else has replied after me. It makes me sad. T_T
