Dogs are getting neutered today. I know it's a good thing to do as a pet owner and all, but I just feel so sad for them.

Why? It's healthier for them and prevents a lot of health problems. It also gets rid of undesirable male behaviors. Along with that, there are way too many animals that die in shelters each year because someone was too lazy to neuter or spay their pets.

I guess it's painful and such...but I think it's better than having 10 extra puppies running around who can't be cared for and such.

A dog won't even notice that they're gone, and they don't have a wide memory span either. Whether a dog's attitude improves though is based on the dog. We have two, and our oldest female was just as bratty and distant as she ever was after we had her spayed.

It does benefit to a dogs health though, which I'm not diagreeing with. The same dog that I just mentioned stopped having such bad skin problems after we spayed her. We're going to definitely do the same with our other dog once she turns two, which will be soon.

We need to get our dog neutered. He's two years old and loves to run away. Hopefully the chop might make him not want to wander off so much in search of female conquests!

I know when you spay a female dog, it can prevent here from getting cancer down there. It's actually really good to spay/neuter your pets o:
