siamese cats...
 

i know that this is a randomly weird thread, but i've noticed something recently: out of all the siamese cats i've ever seen, they're alway either really smart or really stupid, no where inbetween.
for example, i used to have a siamese that i swear could make a rock look like a genius. seriously, i had to teach her how to play, but she forgot how after one winter! same with the siamese kitten i have now. kitten is so stupid! i'm surprised he hasn't gotten himself killed by how often he just sits under everyone's feet.
but, on the other hand, my husband had this one siamese that was like a genius! that cat aparently was playing a very complicated video game and actually doing a good job.
i know a few other siamese cats that were either really smart or really dumb, but i won't go into detail about them.
so, what do you all think? do you know of any really smart or stupid siamese, or have something disagreeing with what i say?

I honestly know very little about siamese cats. I've heard they're pretty chatty, though. ...And they have a rather distinctive meow. XD One of my cats we think is part siamese. That meow...

I have three Siamese and they're not any dumber or smarter than any other cat breed that I've had. They are however very talkative and my one never shuts up. Siamese seem to have more of an independent nature and just do what they want to and not what you want them to do. Where as breeds like Maine coons and Ragdolls tend to be more people cats and want your attention more often than Siamese would. My one Siamese knows how to sit, stay, lay down, and they all know to come when called. The same one that knows the tricks also runs into walls when she is playing.

I hate Siamese cats. I got scratched by one when I was a kid and had to be hospitalized. Since then, I won't go near them.

Both of my cats are half siamese (and also half barn cat). They are smart, but not super smart or anything. I really think it just depends on the cat itself. It is sort of like people in that respect.

I relate but with zebras. Not joking either. I was attacked by a zebra and will not go anywhere near one without a whip or a big stick at very least. They're the only animal that I really will not go near without some protection and I've been bit/scratched, and or a combination of both by pretty much anything you can think of so it's kind of weird for me.

hmm, maybe all my saimese cats are like that cuz they are all mixed breeds that look like perfect siamese. i don't know. but i do know that some siamese are evil. according to my mom, before i was born, my older sister had a siamese that hated my mom and refused to use the litter box for her.
