Yeah, so I was outside and I heard some squeeking sounds coming from the roof. So I walked to the side of the house and out came a flying critter from some loose shingles on the roof. So what do I do? I ran inside and got my camera then video taped the adorible things that were flying around me and coming out of the attic. Naturally I know that we need to get rid of the bats because they carry nasty diseases. Oh well. At least I have had another memorable life moment. ^.^

Bats are so cute! But there are two outside of my window at this very moment fighting and banging into things and being loud! Not fun! But they are super cute :3

Aw I never have seen tiny bats before but I have seen some grown ones. in a cave in a other state on a tour of some sort.

I woke up one night to the sound of like a high-pitched squealing/chirping. And all I could see was my cat fighting with a bat near the door of my closet. So the bat starting flying around the house, eventually we chased it out...but man it was a little freaky.

You don't have to, if you want them to eat your mosquitos ;) they don't always have diseases.

You could get a bat box and mount it to your roof. It's a dark little box, so they will sleep in there rather than your attic.

You don't have to remove them, really. Just don't touch them, which you probably won't have a chance to do so anyway :P Needless, they tend to move their homes around and leave old ones behind. We have bats around here, they fly around at night. ;o

But we used to have birds living in our roof, right above my bedroom window, they had their babies, I would always wake up to them xD; Put, after the babies grew up, they all left. They didn't hurt anything, they just lived there than moved on when they felt ready :3

I had bats in my attic before too. They just went away and we sealed the hole up so they couldn't get back in. We also had squirrels tear up the roof and get in there before too. I had a opossum living under my deck before. Had to live trap it and get it out because we were afraid it would get in a fight with our dog. Thankfully my parents don't believe in killing "pest" animals so they always used live traps to relocate the animals.

Bats? Lol, I'd freak out if I had any in my house.

I'm always afraid they'll like...come at me and drink my blood or something. Which I'm almost positive that they do not, but I get paranoid.

I saw a small bat clinging to the hospital by the doors when I was going inside. It was such a hot day out I felt kinda bad for it. I wasn't sure if it was just sleeping or if it was dead. >_<

Haha. Yeah I think bats are very interesting creatures. I mean, they fly around blind and use echo location to find the bugs in the air. I like that they eat our mosquitoes and they arent really bothering ME, just the other people in the house don't want them in there. I think it is cool. We kind of have pet bats in a way, and our attic is their cave. I dont know if I would want to go into the attic though, I might freak them out and I would be attacked. They might not like me there. lol.

That would be crazy, having other animals living in your house, or under it. haha. Yeah, when I was little I used to think bats were vampires and they would suck my blood too. :P

I once had a few mouses are rats in one my houses I was really sacred of them. they ran right a cross my bed room right in front of my bed and I scream my head off.

Yeah, I could see how that would be startling...Did you ever get rid of them?

I think we did but I was on the house phone when the mouse ran past by me. I think there was a a flied mouse in my closet. at my rental trailer because of them cats that ran around the trailer park so much.

Oh wow. Maybe you should get a rat catcher such as a cat of your own. O.o

I have tall eves in my house and we've had 2 bats get inside and fly around the house in the last year. But they always disappeared before I could chase them out! >.< So I had to leave a big window open in one room so it had a way out. Never saw them again so I guess they made it out! It wasn't until a critter specialist came out to take a look that we found a 3/4" gap in one of the roof beams that they were using to get into the house. They were small ones too but I would much rather have them be in the attic or see them flying around outside! They scare me too much when they get into they house! Other wise though they are pretty cute :)

Bats are adorable. I volunteer at the local zoo and we have bats and I always feed them. :)

I wub bats! <3 And, honestly, they aren't as bad as people think they are, disease-wise. I'm used to living with dangerous things. I have scorpions, various spiders (including black widows), and lotsa bugs wandering around my house in the Sonoran Desert all the time. :3 We've had rattlesnakes in our backyard so much that we don't even care. And, speaking of bats, they live in our trees sometimes, too! I don't kill anything, or call pest control. I like to coexist with wildlife~ Not really afraid of anything.

That's great. I love wildlife as well. Im not really afraid either. I dont know what I would do though if they got in my house. I think I may take a picture....or a video. I already have a video of them flying out of the house. I think that is awesome you live with all of those things. It's awesome! I only have two cats and one dog. I used to have a whole bunch of animals. I had five cats, a dog, three goldfish, one beta, two rats, two fire belly frogs, three salamanders, a snake, and two mice. It was an awesome zoo house.

I love all animals and bugs! ...Er except for mosquitoes, centipedes, and red ants. Those I am neutral/lean towards dislike with. I've had a ton of fish (gold fish and beta fish, mostly), lizards, a tarantula, frogs, newts, geckos, zebra finches, and two rabbits. I currently have a dog and a goldfish. I wish I had a cat, but... They are incompatible with my psycho dog.
