I remember there were a few weeks during finals that I only slept for three hours at the most the whole time... I'm currently pulling a 49 hour...er. This is probably the point that I start losing coherency. When I was younger, I'd regularly stay awake for four days at a time. I couldn't sleep well, and sleeping medication didn't work well for me. I'd do a dance down the over the counter medication isle... ._.; Figuratively. Agh, my English is fading...
My immune system's probably as bad as it is because of my stunts when I was younger. But back then, the symptoms didn't hit me as hard. The simplest thing can make me sick now... But at least I have a roomie who'll take care of me when allergy season slams me. |
I have horrible insomnia and have gone up to 48 hours with no sleep. I suffer from horrible headaches as well so I'm thinking that could be a symptom. I also get incredibly cranky and irritable and I'm easily stressed out.

The longest I stayed up for was about 40 hours, I was so tired by the time I got to bed. I had gone on a school trip with a bunch of my classmates over a weekend, it was fun but we had to travel for about twenty hours one way to get there. I had been up since about 8 am on Sunday morning, couldn't get any sleep because of the way the bus was laid out and no room.
I didn't get any sleep over Sunday night and got home about 5 am that morning. I would've stayed home but was told that anyone missing that school day would recieve dentention for the rest of the week and would not be allowed on any other school trips [overnighters, weekenders, or even regular field trips] for the rest of high school. I was only in my sophmore year. O.o |
Roxxi- I have insomnia from time to time. I always get headaches and nose bleeds a lot..but I think the nosebleeds are because I get tired. Though I've had sleep paralysis since I was little so that's one of the reasons I hardly ever sleep.
If you don't know what sleep paralysis is basically your nightmares coming to life. It's associated with REM [rapid eye movement] and the whole body is paralyzed so you're just laying there while it's happening. You can't move at all your jaw is locked and everything is paralyzed. It's really scary.. Textless Soul - That's intense o - o I would of been like telling them off if I was really tired.xD But i'm stubborn..I'm a junior in high school and still haven't gone to any field trips..you're lucky. |
i've gone 2 days. but no longer than that. i don't think you should experiment too much with not sleeping for weeks :P
