Very, very little. My fingers are too fat for the little keyboard on the phones. And the touch screen keyboard? Oh man, don't get me started!

I may text once every other week actually, but I try not to text and drive because according to this new nationwide commercial I saw the other day it says that if you drive, you text, you die. So I don't want to die so I don't text and drive lol... Sorry the commercial was just a bit too melodramatic. hehehehhehe

I text alllll the time ;D!! It's one of my addictions OwO.. You know what my other addiction is (: hehe.

I stopped keeping track of how often and when I text. Sometimes I'll text throughout the entire day and other time I'll just either text very little or not at all.

Yet I still manage to get an average of 10000 text a month. Though I've also managed to break that record in two weeks over the summer. xD

Since I got my phone last year I have sent a total of 412 messages. and that's last YEAR. These people who send 10000 a month scare me a little XD
I guess I don't text much because I HATE text talk (omg wats up ppls? im txting u) so I go through the long effort of typing "you" as opposed to "u" and since my phone doesn't have a keyboard, that takes a long time. Plus it's kind of really boring...

I text my parents every once in a while, but if I am not on Skype I tend to text a very close friend of mine. It is a bit slow since she does not text most of the time, but we can get in about 20 texts in half an hour, give or take how long it takes both of us to read and reply, and wait for the rest of a text if it is split up into multiples.

Stupid texting character limit. If that was raised it would be a lot easier to text and much less of a hassel for me and some other people I know who hate texting with txtlk.

I hate texting. I have friends who do it constantly whenever they come over or we go anywhere, and it drives me insane. Most of what they send seems to be pointless one- or two-word messages. Personally, if I'm going to talk to someone, I want to have a meaningful, thought-out conversation, not exchange, "hey, watz up?!!!" every ten minutes. (Okay, to be fair, not everyone who texts does that, but where I live, that seems to be basically the contents of every message they ever send.)

I think another aspect of why I dislike it is how I've noticed that a lot of people who text a lot become very impatient when waiting for texts, even if the other person takes only like ten minutes or so to respond. It seems to me that it only increases the obsession with instant gratification that so many young people have these days.

I actually don't even have a cell phone. I've never wanted one; for some reason they kind of annoy me in general, actually. xD

Every day! I have a select few people whom I feel like I HAVE to text everyday! Even if its just random lame jokes with no content whatsoever ^^" But I do love to text since my phone makes it so easy being a touch screen and all. I think I send about around 20 texts a day which to me, isn't too excessive, isn't it? Its not exactly cheap to text that much anyways...

Sometimes though, I do get rather lazy to text. So I'd rather just call the person.

i text all the time im texting right now i like to text all my freinds :P and i get texts all times of the day i enjoy texting its sun and simple and it works when you want to walk to some one but dont really have that much to say so you don't have to call just to say one or two things to that person

I've never sent a text. Wouldn't have a clue how to either. I've never owned a mobile phone because I hate talking on the phone, plus I get no reception out where I live, so owning one would be pointless.

It's bad enough having a land line. I'd hate to have a mobile phone that people expect me to answer all the time >.< I find telephones really obnoxious and demanding. People expect you to be available all the time when you have a phone, it's irritating.
You can be doing something vitally important (like chatting to random strangers online) and then the damn phone starts ringing and whoever's there, just expects you to drop everything in 3-5 rings in order to deal with them. If you don't answer, they hang up and a lot of idiots ring back straight away and it's like having a small baby to attend to. Worse than that, is that usually you drop what you're doing, run to the phone thinking it's something important, and it turns out to be someone you've probably already seen that day who has nothing worth saying anyway >.<

Anyhow, yeah, I don't see the point in texting either. I have e-mail. I live on the computer. Stepping away from the computer (which by the way has a proper sized keyboard) to pick up some tiny beepy thing and attempt to type out a message that has to be shortened into gibberish in order to cost less money to send, on a minute keypad that's been designed for someone who's fingers haven't grown since birth.... that makes no sense whatsoever to me.

I average like 400 texts a day. thank god I got unlimited.
I just got my first phone in july, but i'm at the point where if I need to look like I'm paying attention to someone infront of me, i'll whip out my phone, and type a message with no errors, while making eye contact with the person infront of me. I don't have to look at my keyboard once. XD It boggles the mind of my parents.

I text when texted to....if no one texts me, I usually don't text them unless I need to ask a question. When people text me, I'll have a conversation, but I won't drag it on. I have unlimited texting, which is great, but I am not addicted to it. That being said, I would MUCH rather text someone than call them...I sound awkward on the phone D:

I love texting & usually text atleast once, though usually only about 20. I have eight friends who keep on circling so its difficult to choose which to text, and mostly they are rather muddling ;_; I use mom's phone so I keep a limit, or else my mom might take the phone and I don't want the risk ;p
