So, does anyone use Stumble Upon, or any of it's similar cometitors (like digg)?

I've become hoplessless addicted to it. I can spend housr and hours just "stumbling" around the web. I think I've added more sites to my favorites using stumble than through search engines and recomendations combined!

I just found out about it from this post and joins, that's awesome.
The first one it brought me to was CalorieConnect.com which i'm having fun with. XD

I find stumble upon can be really addicting. Some of the sites you come across are really cool, and some of them are like wha?? But I think it is a really cool site.

My friend and I go on this all the time and are always sending each other links to stupid things. We could go on for hours.

StumbleVideo? I'm unfamiliar with that... an extension of StumbleUpon?

Yes. If you have the toolbar, you'll see different "channel" icons; the defaults being "all," "sites from people i've subscribed to," "stumble images," "stumble videos," "stumblethru a website," and "stumble news items."

If you click the tv icon (stumble videos), it'll take you to a black page with a youtube or dailymotion or whatever clip. Then there's a side-bar you can click to the left of the clip to choose which topic you want to watch. I like to watch cat videos >3>;;

If you're still confused, I guess I could whip up a quick visual tutorial in paint.

I also have a "stumblethru youtube" button for my toolbar, but I can't limit it to specific topics, so I don't like it as much as stumble video.

Though, stumble video does tend to have a lot of repeated videos, that count as different because they're hosted on different sites (youtube vs. metacafe, for example), but that seems to only be an issue if you're stumbling one topic at a time.

Ah, good to know. I haven't really played with it yet, but I did finagle how to use it, thanks to you. ^_^ This will be fun, I'm sure...

My find of the evening is this video. It's like an old early 90's dating video, from before dating internet sites were really up and running. There's a guy dressed like a viking! So weird, and so funny xD

Stumbleupon is one of my obsessions online. I always open up a tab with stumble in it whenever i go online. I have found so many awesome websites an ideas through using it. Its even helped me with some of my design projects at school as I find ideas on how to change and edit photos.It is seriously awesome.

I recently found a website full of Ramen noodle recipies... not I have to find the link again to share it. But it was really cool.
