My roomates been in the bathroom for 2 hours. And the water isn't even running. No toilet flushes and none of that annoying toothbrush noise.
I've been waiting to go in and have a shower for 2 hours. >> I take all of 15-20 minutes to shower. Partially because I hate hot water and partially because I know that others live here too. ]:< If shes doing her hair someones getting SLAPPED. She has a sink and a mirror OUTSIDE the bathroom she could use. D:< I do NOT want to wait another bloody two hours to shower. So do you take a ridiculous amount of time in the shower. Would you be ticked? |

Maybe she's using a bucket of water to shave her legs?? I would definitely be ticked. |
I'd be pounding on the door telling them to get the hell out. If I want to do something I want to do it now and that is just inconsiderate to take that much time when you have room mates.
I take about 10-15 minutes showers. I live by myself right now and am quite happy not having someone around anymore just for the reason that I can just do what I want. |

My sister used to take up to an hour doing her hair alone and I never understood what exactly they do to their hair to take that long. O.o

Mys: This roomates the first. But I guess I understand to an extent because shes black and her hair doesn't always cooperate. Theres a lot of stuff she puts in it too. >o> But two hours?

I would have banged on the door long ago and told them to use the other mirror. I don't have the patience to just wait for them to come out.
I take awhile doing my hair sometimes but I leave the door open... nothing private about doing hair... unless she is naked? I got to say. 15-20 minutes is pretty long for a shower where I am from. We usually have water restrictions in summer so it is 4 minutes showers and our hot water system only lasts an 8 minutes shower max before it has to heat up again. I used to have long showers at my parents house but no more. I kinda miss that. xD |
I would have told her that I'd pee on the floor and she'd have to clean it up if she didn't let you in.
And then pee, and take a shower, and then let her back in :lol: How does it take 2 hours to do hair?! Was she putting in her own weave? o_o |
I'm the person that takes up the most time in the bathroom, in my household. I like long showers, and often spend far to much time just standing under the water. I don't tend to get in peoples way though, because i shower at unusual times.
In my new uni flat, there's going to be two bathrooms, so i won't have to worry about the amount of time i spend in there. Two hours is a bit extreme though i think. I would never spend that much time in there if i lived with somebody who wasn't my family. I'm far to conscious of upsetting people like that. |
Now I don't spend very long in the bathroom, I usually have such a crazy workload that all time is precious to me, so I don't often waste it in the bathroom. I take about fifteen minutes to shower usually, five if I'm in a complete rush and twenty-five if I'm shaving.
My sister on the other hand spends the majority of her life in the bathroom. She rarely goes for showers, she usually has hour long soaks in the bath, about ten to fifteen minutes to brush her teeth and another ten if she does her make-up in there. It's crazy how long she spends in there. I used to take pretty long showers and a lot of prep time in the bathroom when I was still at high school and only had me to look out for, now I just see so many more beneficial things to do than spend twenty minutes doing make up. |
:'D I use to take that long in the bathroom, but not just doing my hair!! I would be in the shower, then brushing my teeth, get dressed, and then blowdry and do my hair, which would take pretty much like, an hour in its self. I couldn't tell you what your roommate could be doin, thats sort of strange if you ask me? Idk, why don't you be all like "Seriously chick I need to take a shower!! If you don't open the door, Ima bust through it!" < <thats whut I would do anyway.. I get aggressive sometimes when I can't get into the bathroom xD;
