... I am trying to decided on a costume for Anime Detour... and I think I've narrowed it down to either Blair or Medusa... both from Soul Eater. Your thoughts? Any other suggestions??

A good way to figure out which cosplay you'd like to be is to see which personality fits you more. For example, I'm a peppy cheerful person most of the time, so I find it much easier to cosplay as people who have the same personality as me. It helps me stay in the character more ^_^ Another way to see which might work better is of course whichever costume you like better, or what might flatter your body type more than the other.

I have to agree with the advice this lovely lovely Nekojia gives. :) Whatever you feel you can pull off. Make sure it's in your budget as well.

...I really need to watch Soul Eater. I've been intrigued by the style since my friend showed a picture to me a couple years ago. But, alas, I've been attending to other shows on my list.

As a personal opinion, I like Blair because her outfit seems really cute and fun.

However, I believe you should base your choice on whoever you feel more connected to. I can't say I have a whole lot of cosplaying experience, but I do find it easier to cosplay characters that I feel are more like me.

I really like Medusa's outfit.

I love medusa's sinster aura and I know I could have lots of fun with it... but blair is just too cute and flirty! It's a hard decision for me :(

I'm voting for Medusa, becuase he's would be much easier to make (coming form a seamstress' perspective).
