I was at school this week (first week, woo long summer!) and we'd been doing team-building bonding stuff this week, so we'd been put into groups and made boats out of cardboard and duct tape in an attempt to float them.

My group, being awesome as we were, made a humongous boat that proceeded to capsize immediately. When I emerged from the water, my friend's mom pulled me aside. The conversation went something like this.

"Do you want a beta key?"
"Beta... as in... Cataclysm?"
"Yeah."

And so I'm now installing the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Beta. :'D

So tell me, Mene. What kind of neat stuff has happened to you lately?

Not really luck but a few years ago there was a family gathering and everyone was commenting on how pretty and clear the sky looked, I asked jokingly, "what if it rains?". Five minutes later, it rained =) From then on, my mom or my grandma takes me around for lottery tickets or ask me for numbers. Lol, apparantly I win them money and when I'm not near them they don't win. Highest amount they won was $250.

I am actually, currently downloading WoW.
I'll be a first time user. xD TOTAL NOOB.
But my original disk is damaged, and I was like 'augh'. Then my friend was like 'Ohay, I'm on WoW. Do thisthisthisthis...' and I'm now on my way to WoW-dom.
Who knew friends could be closet Blood Elven Warlocks? 8D

I don't know what Cataclysm is. Is it the new expansion that'll be coming out? x3

Nothing really lucky has happened to me lately. Quite the opposite. I'm losing my school papers, having to get up at 7am for an extra early church performance, WoW is bugging a lot, etc.

I tried WoW. Got to level 14 and realized it wasn't the game for me. The price of it isn't bad at all ($15 for a month if you play constantly vs $60 for a game you play for 2 weeks, pretty good) But the extra prices isn't part of my style.

Also, my once good friend is now addicted. I can't get her off, she's missing work, and decided not to attend college this semester. She's meeting online guys, and now can't even go out for a drink because "It would disturb my raid time! I'm the only PRIEST!!!!!" Instantly turned me off, and now I can't look at it. After an ex got hooked (we got him off) and now her, it's nothing I want to try again.

That's not to say it's nad, in moderation. But being in front of a computer screen for that long is terrible. Also everyone keeps telling me "you gotta play again! It's fun when you cap level 80!" ... I have to wait 80 levels till it gets fun? Nahhhhh

I played dragon age before I played WoW. So my RPG addiction has since faded--I enjoy it as a relaxer. :3
A lot of my old friends were the strangely-addicted to it types...weirded me out...

Hm, I haven't had any really amazing luck lately. But when I had an interview at Job Corps, I told my friend about it and which day. I didn't see him when I got into the building, and into the office where I had to wait. I had to go use the bathroom and when I got out, THERE HE WAS STANDING THERE LIKE A GOOFBALL 8D. So I finally got to see my best friend after a long time >w>

Well my boyfriend got a beta key and I'm out of school for two weeks so he's letting me play on his XD I'm a lucky girl for having an amazing boyfriend.

As far as luck goes I'm like the most unlucky person in the world. If I'm rolling 1-100 my average is around 29 :O Statistics are never my friend. I always joke that my luck must be somewhere else, maybe I could try the lottery Xp
