Hot, Cold, Warm, or Cool?
 

Here where I live, the temperature is changing rapidly. It got up to 87 today, and is headed for 50 (Degrees measured in Fahrenheit). What kind of temperature do you guys like the most? Hot, cold, warm, or cool? Or, which season do you guys prefer and why? Personally, I like Fall and Spring. Fall because the sight can be downright beautiful, and the air is crisp and clean-feeling. Spring because everything takes on a new vibrancy, coming back alive after the winter. ^^

Lols. I live in Oklahoma, and the weather Channel can't even predict whats going to to happen here. All week long they were saying there was going to be terrible thunder storms today... welll it rained a bit yesterday, and today is all nice blue and sunny.

Personally my favorite weather is in So-Cal, my birth home. lols. Its always super pretty, even when there is somewhat bad weather. The spring is awesome and so is the fall. not much of a winter though, if you wanted it could be sweater weather year round lols ><

My favorite Season is Fall, for the wonderful temps, I love being able to wear sweaters and jackets with out over heating, or feeling like Im going to become an ice pop if I take it off. I love watching all of the tree leaves fall and change colors, i love to rake them all up, and before i put them into a bag, ill jump into them. lols. even if they aren't very soft for the landing. Its just fun to be burried under them (till a spider crawls on to me... yikes)
I also love the fall because of the Holidays that are in the season, Thanksgiving and Halloween. My two favorites.

I have a question, when is it officially fall? when is summer over?

@Chocolate_Fusion - Yeah, I know how that feels. XD My weather channel has about the same accuracy.

Ah, I like the Fall in upstate New York (where I live) and the early spring/Fall in Orlando Florida. ^^ The air always feels so nice and has this great fragrance. The sky is usually clear and I can see the stars, and it's warm enough that I can stand outside for hours. ^^

I live in New England myself. We get all the seasons here, but I have to say my favorite season is Fall, followed by winter. I have very pale skin, so I burn easily. I don't even tan! Just get slightly less white. But I hate going to the beach, not a big fan of bathing suits, and pretty much everything else that comes with summer. I'm just one of those people who would much perfer to put more clothes on, than to take them off. If you know what I mean. lol.

I liked summer because School let out and I was able to swim. But I prefer spring and fall to summer. :sweat: However, I can't say the same for winter, though it can be stunningly beautiful, it often makes me catch colds. But oddly enough, I feel more awake in the winter. >.> I live sort-of near NE, I'm in upstate New York.

We get crazy weather here in Nevada as well. It'll be really hot, and then the temperature drops low, then high. Also we can have a perfectly sunny day, and then almost outta no where comes a huge storm, and dumps a lot of rain (or hail) on us, then it goes back to sunny XD. Also we got snow during June O.O, three times that month. It was crazy.

I swear that the wind is out to kill me or something. I was helping bringing in groceries before when it was REALLY windy outside. And then when I went to walk back inside, a huge piece of wood comes and hits the side of the car. Right where I was just standing two seconds ago. And then a couple weeks ago, I just got to the store and stepped outta the car. And a HUGE, I mean HUGE dust devil comes and hits me :U, and a sign almost hit me as well (that was from some store about a quarter mile away).

Also I love autumn. The weather is just perfect, the leaves change into such beautiful colors. It's wonderful <3

I like it to be around 80. I like it to be hot. I get cold easy and I like being outside. I don't mind the fall but I still prefer the option of being able to just sit outside with a bathing suit on if I want to.

i like it when it's cold. I can't stand the heat at all. I keep my room cold as heck all summer long and most of spring lol. winter time the crappy instillation in my house makes my room feel awesome.

i like the weather alot whenever its warm and cool at the same time like fall..

i live in the south and there is nothing but humidity where im at so everythings either hot and humid and miserable, or it freezing cold to where your spit freezes!
i like the fall cause down here its not humid and its not frozen. ^^

I enjoy warm weather. Not too hot, and not too cold. It encourages me to go outside.

I love the fall and winter season in Upstate, New York. It's amazing.

However, I now live in Arizona and there is no Spring or Winter. Correction, there is Spring and Winter but they usually last only 2 weeks before transitioning to Summer or Fall. So you really cannot tell. Today is September, almost October, and it is STILL summertime here. Hot enough to wear t-shirts and shorts, hot enough to go in the pool and hot enough to get heat warnings. Summer in Arizona doesn't end until mid-November, where it transitions to Fall immediately. And then mid-January it becomes Winter before going back to Fall two to three weeks later, and finally Spring arrives end of February/early March for a couple of weeks. Then April, you start feeling the effects of Summertime =/

@Laila Izuka - The weather around here is a bit weird too. >.> The weather forecasters are usually wrong. When it's supposed to rain, we'll get none. When it's supposed to be sunny and 80, we'll get cloudy and 60. >.> It's weird. 0.0 Whoa! Killer wind! >.> In upstate NY, we rarely get ANY kind of tornadoes... Well, we only get one maybe once a year, and it's usually harmless. ^^ I like the fall too. Such pretty colors, and the air always smells so nice~

@Mystic - Ah, I see. :) When it's like that outside, I'm usually in my pool if it's open.

@Bulbedoe - Ah, so you very much like the cold. :) It seems that you have the conditions that make your environment just the way you like it. Me, I'm a warm/cool person myself, but to each his own.

@Killer Wifey - Ah, so fall's that heavenly median-type season where you live. ^^ Cool. Sounds kinda like fall/spring here.

@iRandall - Yeah, fall is nice, very nice. ^^ The air always feels so fresh to me. ^^ o.o Aww, I'm sorry... >.> I'm kinda allergic to pollen as well, but not too badly... So I think I kinda know how you feel.

@Leenalia - ^^ Yeah, those seasons are always so pretty. *blinkblink* Whoa. I'd say that here in Upstate NY, we've got a pretty even four-quarter set of seasons. It's probably nicer to have more cool weather than freezing cold though. >.> But obviously you get burning hot instead of freezing cold... Must be nice to come up north and feel the cooler weather.

My preferred seasons are Summer and Fall, and late Spring. Summer, 'cause it's toasty warm (to me, at least). Fall, 'cause it's so pretty and the spices and aromas are so wonderful. Spring, because the sun's coming out again and the thunderstorms start back up. :D

I'm always likened to a reptile for my temperature preferences. :lol: I like it hot, not too hot, and certainly not too cold. The cold puts me to sleep. Like, really super fast. I prefer it to be about 80-95 degrees, plus or minus a few degrees depending on humidity. I start shivering almost as soon as it drops below 75. Usually, if we've been inside a cold shop or the theater most of the day, I come out freezing and curl up against the side of the nice warm car trying to absorb all the heat I can before my mom blasts the air conditioner. I've been known to keep the heater going all summer in my own car.

haha also, I maintain my body heat by drinking hot drinks (year round, of course!) and taking hot showers (usually with the knob-thingy turned all the way to hot) and not using the fan to vent the steam until after I'm done.

Sooo...winter is really lousy for me. I get cold, tired and sick, as well as really moody. I try to just curl up in all my blankets with hot teas and hot cocoa, a pile of movies, and..more or less just go into hibernation mode.

@HappyStarr - Ah, nice. ^^ I like spring and fall too. >.> Summer makes me feel sleepy though. I hear what you say about getting sick in the winter, it happens to me too. I like warm weather, but not too warm. Otherwise I start getting sleepy. :sweat:

I like 50-70 depending on the wind.

50 with little to no wind is great.

70 needs wind.

I live in Louisiana we get all 4 season's but we rarely get snow here. but it's been a bit cooler lately it's been hot here. like crazy since the summer months at lest the cement dose not burn my feet any more.

I live in Quebec (Canada) and I don't like the summer we have (full of humidity). My favorites seasons are fall and winter. I like fall because of the feeling I get and I like winter because it's a magical season (snow is so pretty). And to day was a warm and humid day all of that mixed with rain...I did not liked that weather!

I totally feel ya on the rainy+warm+humid thing. Especially where I am in Georgia. I'm just student here, so maybe I'm just not used to it...but when it gets humid here, it smells like fish. I'm all for the sunshine, and even rain, but then the humidity just makes it smell. DX

The weather has been crazy here, too. Was down in the 80's, and even high 70's one day, and then up higher in the 80's. Then been in 90's and up in the 100's today. @[email protected];; Just all over the place. And soo hot now. Hate when it gets this hot.

And I prefer medium weather. Mainly spring weather. Decently warm, pretty good breeze. Great time to spend time outside.

I like cool weather, like in the fall. <3 When it's cold, you can always bundle up, but when it's hot, you can't do much.
(Although, it helps that we have heating, but not air conditioning. xD)

You big continent guys have crazy weather xD I like late spring and early summer the best. The weather's warm but not too hot, everything's in flower but it's not the stuff that makes me sneeze all the time, and the weather isn't bad like it often is during the hotter months. July and August in England can be torture, either stiflingly hot with no breeze, or pouring with rain constantly with that upgrading to thunderstorms. If you get one week of really nice summer weather you can guarantee that you'll pay for it further down the line xD

We have humidity issues here too, because of our geographical location and because we're an island, it's very moist here! It's what makes us this "green and pleasant land" but it can take people from drier climates by suprise :lol: 85 degrees here can feel one hell of a lot hotter than it actually is because of the relative humidity. Though if you live somewhere horribly clammy like Florida the UK climate would be just gorgeous!

I live in Florida, so we're still in a summer-like state. It is cooling down slowly, though.

It's about 88 right now with around 70% humidity. It'll be like this until late October, and then we'll begin to see things down in the 70's.

I like fall and winter the best. Our winter is probably like ya'll's fall.

haha so they say... At my house, we never had much in the way of air conditioning or heat. But for me, I cool down way faster than I heat up. My body heat just runs off the first chance it gets. So I prefer warmer weather so I don't have to spend half my day shivering. Especially now that I have jaw problems. >.>
