So, if you could be any mythological creature, what would you be and why?

I would be a dragon so I could fly, always have a light (no need to bum a lighter), and to be one of the largest land creatures. I know it's really cliche, but I don't care! I suppose it wouldn't be bad to be a minotaur either, though...

Oh shit....That are so many that I wold want to be it's hard to choose. Probably an amphithere. I mean they're just cool looking and they fly and can use hypnosis and breath fire. A siren would also be a good choice as would a mermaid.

If I'm feeling power hungry, God or the Devil.

I've always been considered a dragon anyway....so a dragon. XD The flying bit, and the whole great majestic being really win me over. :3

I'd probably be either a water nymph or a fairy.
Depending on which mythology you follow they're either small, cute, mischievous creatures or down right nasty and hurtful.
Either way I think it would be fun to be that small, living in some sort of forest-y or water-y environment.
They make me think of tea parties. I like tea parties still. :P

hmm.. i think a siren! or even a Griffin? i dont know, i see a Griffin as a creature of power but a Siren as a creature of decieving beauty?

A manticore would be one of my first choices. I could be a giant lion, with a human face, dragon wings and a scorpion tail, what's cooler than that?

If not that then probably an elf because they have that graceful beauty and longevity going for them.

I choose a mermaid! :O I just have some weird attraction to being in water and swimming with fishies.

Hmm... I think that i'd like to be an elemental. You could control elements, and you wouldn't have to worry about the human world OR it's problems :) You could just live and be free.
Note: I do not mean the type of elemental that draws on powers of the earth. I mean the type that IS the power of the earth, whatever that may be. As in, instead of controlling earth, you ARE earth.

I would say Godzilla. Because I'd be king of the monsters!

I am also, for some reason, quite fascinated with banshees.

I suppose a nymph wouldn't be bad either. Being a woman of fantastical beauty and voice sounds pretty good to me. The fact that you'd rape men, then possibly drown them doesn't sound bad either.
