Hello, everyone! :)
I have some questions for you:
What a term ''Motivation'' means for you?
What motivates you in life?
I'm really interested in this topic, so I'm waiting for you ideas!
Thank you!!! ;)

It means "Get your ass up and do something significant or accomplish something."
My girlfriend motivates me. She really helped turn my life around and I plan on keeping it on this right path with her at my side, helping me along the way

Thanks for reply! :)
I'm absolutely agree with you! To motivate means ''Get your ass up and do something significant or accomplish something''!
For me it's ''Get your ass up and ACTION, ACTION!!!'' :D
It's so great when you have someone close to you always ready to help and support you. I am happy for you that you have such a person! :)

It often depends on what the thing I need motivation for is. But say to like do something like cleaning and homework, my motivation is that it'll be out of my way and I need good grades. And when it's done I can just go chill or hang with friends.

I'm the same way! My fiance definitely motivates me. I just think, "Ugh, if I don't get this done soon, I'll really let him down, and I don't want him to be disappointed in me or think I'm lazy!" It means a lot to me to be able to impress him still with the work that I do for myself or for him. More than it did to impress my parents (who honestly had some pretty high expectations, and little praise for the rare occasion I met them), and more than money ever did. I probably care way too much about what he thinks about me. xD

"herb" used to motivate me to do things. lol stupid i know.
my friend motivated me once, cuz we only talked in pms
and she liked my stories of doing crazy things and partys.
then i ran out of stories so i thought i need some stuff
to tell her, so i went out and went drove a ski-doo
fell off of one, went sliding, all kinds of things.
so idk different things get different motivations i guess

Lately, I've been lacking in motivation. I've been pretty sick so motivation to me for the past few weeks has meant "okay you HAVE to do t his so get the hell up now!". Normally I would be motivated to do things just because I always have to be doing something. My best friend is pretty much my muse. He's always supported me and been there for me.

I actually made a thread asking for help with motivation earlier... I'm not very good at self-motivating and I haven't really been getting the kind of support I needed to keep going with stuff (or to start it), so I asked--and talking about what I wanted to do and getting ideas from other people has really helped so far.

I am, generally speaking... A very unmotivated person. xD However, when I really want to motivate myself, I set a deadline, and reward myself when I make progress.

Oddly enough, I never really considered the "reward" thing. o _o Something to think about.

Oh, motivation. How extremely hard it is to acquire you. xD
I procrastinate A LOT. So I always try and motivate myself to finish things on time.
My "reward" I guess would be getting more sleep the night before something is due. I love sleep so... THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME! xD

That's how I feel  My parents, especially my mother, pushed me too hard. Nothing was ever good enough for her. But my girlfriend gently pushes me to get better. And then she'll reward me with kisses *0* I'd push a boulder up a hill for that :XD

"Chaos isn't going to create itself" I repeat every morning. That usually gets me all fired up and ready to go.

Love it Peeblo!
I find that if I right down everything that I need to do and get organized that way it is usually enough motivation to get me to do stuff that I have been meaning to get done. I guess I stress myself out a little bit that way, but I get the work done.

If we speak about cleaning or homework then the same things, like when it's done I can go chill or hang out with friends, are motivating to do it. As I say: ''Work hard and party harder!'' :)

Motivation for me can only be accomplished through setting goals. If I don't set goals for myself, I won't accomplish anything. And if you don't accomplish any goals in life, you aren't really going to feel too great about yourself. I basically make a mental list of things I need to do, and if I don't do them... I'm letting down myself and sometimes the people around me. And I hate disappointment so I always try and complete my goals. Some realistic, some non realistic. I would love to be the author of a comic book series, but I would also love to finally have enough money for a decent apartment.

Thank you, Kiyomi!
Yes, I agree with you. If we don't set goals for ourselves, we won't accomplish anything in life! Sometimes, we are disappointed in ourselves because we did not do something but it's nothing If people around are disappointed in us :( Specially, If there's a promise to do some stuff :(
Good luck, one day you'll have enough money for a decent apartment and you'll become the author of comic book series!
Never give up!
