O.o DANG THAT'S SMALL
 

So... I saw on tv a very long time ago about a miniature deer and cat... well.... I found it... and wanted to share it with all of you what it looked like and spark some conversation.



What is the smallest animal you've ever seen (irl)?
What was your reaction to the video?

I researched the sizes of each animal, and the deer can be as small as 20 lbs and the wildcat as low as 3 lbs

Smallest animal irl? Hmm...well, I don't think my Robo hamster counts, does it? They're the smallest hamster breed. Otherwise...

Smallest animal I've seen that's meant to be big is probably the baby two-headed pig I saw at the pig farm when I was in the third grade..

The miniature deer thing...they have one in the Zoo here in Denver. OUTSIDE of the zoo, I used to breed mice and in one litter, there was one mouse that never got to be more than half the size as the others. A "mini-mouse", if you will.

How cute is that! Where are such creatures found?

I saw this clip a few times. I've always found them both cute. Smallest animal that I've seen in real life that was full grown was probably a Robo dwarf hamster. My aunt has a dog that is 2lbs and she's about three years old. I've also seen pygmy goats and think that they are just about the cutest things ever and miniature horses. I mean properly bred miniature horses, not like the deformed ones you see at petting farms and what not.

I saw the title of this thread and all I could think of was, "I hate it when she says that!" xD

My pet cat is only 6 and a half pounds, the smallest adult cat I have ever seen, most people think she is a large kitten. She is a very common size cat ( Albeit smaller than most) the city I got her, but where I know live she is kinda a freak. In a good lovable way of course.

When she was a kitten she could literally lay in the palm of my boyfriends hand. No not hands, HAND.

@ Amy - sounds like one of our cats we had... she was about that small (demon cat though for her size :lol:)
