summer...lets think!

i know summer is over (bummer!) but what was your favorite thing to do?

i loved swimming, ive always been a water person, because i lived by a creek my entire life. my friends and i would get on our bathing suits and run down toi the water hole. it was this huge part of the creek shrouded by trees. it was about 14 feet deep. we never really measured. all we knew is we couldnt touch the bottom. there was cliffs for jumping and frogs to catch. along with crawfish and mini brook trout.

my family loved to go camping and there was a wonderful camping ground a few miles from our house. we went camping sooo many times. it was so much fun being outside. the only downside was that there was beasrs and mosquitos. well, i mean, theres always gonna be spiders and ants and stuff like that, but bears arent that common. this camp ground also had a creek. so...good stuff!

another favorite part of my summers was hanging out with my friends. i would catch up with them and we would walk to the ice cream shop and the mexican restaurant to buy churros. it was so much fun being up in town where i could socialize because i lived about 45 minutes from the town where my school was and where all my friends lived. now that ive moved, im only 15 minutes away...but anyway.

i had summer flings and my birthday was also over summer. i met new people and lost some friends. but over all it was really great.

so...question is, whats your favorite part about summer???

To be honest, Summer's my least favourite season. Busiest time at work, allergies in full force and being all hot and sweaty >.<
Seeing scantily clad nice looking people can be good when it's warm out, but then there are scantily clad not so nice looking people too which kind of spoils that a little.
I guess my favourite thing would be thwarting the sun and pollen when I'm indoors with the fan on :D

yeah. bahah. i dont work right now since it'd be considered child labor....O.o
but i agree. with the whole people thing. its very true.

Personaly, I dont like summer. Lol,
I dont like being warm, I whould much rather be cold, and i dont much like the sun either xD
I dont like the insect either Dx *scared face*

But i do like swimming, and it is best to that in the summer :)

Personally, I love the summer. Most of all I love swimming. I love the water and my neighbors always invite me to swim with them in their pool. My birthday is over the summer too. I also go to Kentucky every summer for a week to help underprivileged kids. That's probably my favorite part. I also have my family reunion every two years during the summer. It lasts 3 to 4 days, which I've been told isn't normal. We just all gather at a resort and hang out. Sometimes I go to Mississippi or Georgia. I definitely have a lot to do over the summer, but I always have a lot of fun.

the water that was by my house was always cold, because it was always running quickly. but for some reason that water hole thing wasnt ever that cold. it was actually quite nice.

i totally agree actually. i love staying up late and not getting up early to go to school or work or whatever.

well, if you went swimming in the winter, you might get frostbite and die O.o
(maybe thats just where i live). but yeah i hate bugs, and we have a lot of mosquitos in my area.

ohh, thats sooo nice! i wish i had the ability to travel to a bunch of different states and do the stuff you do. thats good karma right there ^-^

Camping and being outside! I love the warm weather! I also love going for super long walks when I feel well enough to. I hate when it starts to get cold and I can't really go outside much because I get cold so easy. I pretty much hibernate through the winter. XD

I like it! I love to camp, as said so im my first post:3
But I also like the cold, so being outside is one of my favorite things. It snows hardcore where I live, even more now since the climate changes. My friends and I go outside and have snowball fights. Its a lot of fun too:3

Uh.... Summer's just beginning! PARTY! *dances around like a maniac* What do I like about summer?! Christmas! Twinkly lights! Late nights! Long days! Everything being more awesomer!

Aria: That sounds soo nice. Like a perfect place to spend summer. Unfortunately summer in England isn't so warm and for the past few years we have barely had much sun in summer. There's no chance you can go swimming outside here and layers of clothes are still required. All I can do is sit in my back garden. I wish there was more stuff to do around where I live!

Although, the days are longer because it doesn't go dark until late and that's good. In winter we wake up to darkness, have a couple of hours dingy clouds and then darkness again! :'o

I love that there's no school and I get to hang out with my friends and older sisters like everyday and do nothing but have fun for two months. Also I love how sunny and happy it is oh and the songs that come out around summer time, they're always awesome.

My favorite thing about summer is being able to spend time with my friends. I love getting together with them over the summer to do nothing but laze around and goof off. I also adore the watermelons I get to eat. <3
