Thanksgiving: a time to give thanks
 

Well tommarrow is thanksgiving and some of us who do celebrate it have a tradition to go around the table why they were thankful for this year. And there are some who don't do that but still it wouldn't hurt to say a little something nice happen this year. As for me I'm thankful that I survived another year of hard times that including finding a job, my dad, and other stuff as well.
So do you have something to say that your thankful for?

I don't really know what to be thankful for other than the basics already commonly known. Thanksgiving to me is stuffing yourself and sitting around, waiting for your stomach to settle down after murdering your stomach. Though that's just me trying not to be too sentimental about things.

I'm thankful for my mother for sticking beside me when I didn't have a father. ;D I really thank god for her everyday. Lol. She's always been there for me and stuff.

I'm also glad that I made it into college and have qualified for some financial aid to help me get through it. ;]

I'm and thankful for my friends. And my sister becoming my best friend after years and years of totally hating each other's guts. Lol. I am also thankful for where I am to this day. :)

My beautiful boyfriend of 4 and a half years, Richard <3
My wonderful family who have been with me through it all
My secret 7 little pills I take everyday to stay happy and insane
My kitty cat Phoenix Ezra <3
My family's wealth, and the fact I can live in a beautiful place without paying for it (thanks daddy<3)

And most of all, being alive and free :)
Pretty lame list, I know. But I mean it really! I could make a list that would take up 2 pages of all the things I am thankful for, but this is a good cliff notes version.

Thanksgiving was like...last month. At any rate, I am thankful for my family, my exhusband, and my friends first off. I am also thankful that I have a shelter over my head and don't entirely have to rely on scraping up food for every meal most the time. I am also thankful for my pets, my art, music, and my creative energy. Even though my creative energy sometimes is annoying because I always have to be making something or writing something. I am also thankful that I am not dead.

Even though it's a bit after thanksgiving. I just wanted to say I'm thankful for my health...Oh wait. :cry: (My health is really really poor.)

Umm, so I guess I'm thankful that I have a roof over my head, a warm bed to sleep in, someone to hold me at night when I'm lonely and sad, and that we can finally afford food to eat AND internet. :cry: :heart:

Aside from that, I'm very sad this year that I could not spend Thanksgiving with my family...I will however be visiting them for Christmas (even though I'm a little anti-religion), I think it's important that I spend time with them, seeing as I haven't seen most of them in over a year, and my sister is a teenager, and as much as she hates me.
I love her and she should learn to start taking my damn phone calls or my wrath will be unleashed. :sarcasm:
