This is going to sound odd but hear me out. Have you ever noticed when you dream, a lot of the time it's in the same place/setting? It can be a real place or a place you subconcious made up. Is this only me?
One of the places I dream about is this huge gorgeous mansion like building, with black-ish sliding and a lot of gold furniture, including one of those early 1900's elevator.
And this is REALLY weird, I often dream I'm playing an intense game of Hide and Seek in a unnusual kind of town. I dream this so often I can very clearly see it. I'm in Maui right now on vacation, and the town I visited yesterday looked EXACTLY like it. Even the names of the stores were the same! I'm not even kidding!
So does this happen to you? If so, can you explain what your Dream Places are?

I often dream in a building that is the combination of all the schools I've ever seen or attended in my whole life. It's pretty disorienting, considering there can be ramps next to staircases and kindergarden art projects hanging from the ceiling instead of fans. Last time, I dreamt it had an outdoor fountain that ran chocolate milk- no doubt me remembering my brother's school that had a dilapidated fountain out front filled with stagnant muddy water.

Most of my dreams take place in an underground cavern. o 3o;; It's pretty weird.
And most of my dreams are fairly lucid too, so they all feel like video games and it's kindof ridiculous and awesome.

I always have dreams of highschool. Both highschools I attended are merged into one along with all the students (including those I've never seen before). Most often they're nightmares. :< Highschool was never my greatest experience...

A lot of people are dreaming about their schools O.O I've never dreamed about school, with the exception of the "showing up at school naked" dream, but like everyone says, it's distorted and confusing. and Mosntah I dream like that all the time too. Mostly in 1998 N64 style graphics (OoT FTW!!)

I have had repeat dreams, but they haven't been happening quite as often lately.
The dreams I have that are very similar but not exact repeats of themselves are ones of me in school. I usually forget something at school or at home and have to make the dangerous trip back to get that item (the one that comes to mind is one where I forgot my clothes at home when going to elementary school, so I had to sneak across the main foyer to the lost and found box to dress myself). Or, I forget to go to class and I take a final exam without having attended for the whole semester. xD

Oh god. I have dreamt myself in hyrule SO many times. Not even in an awesome way- just everything is in those graphics and I usually open a chest or jump a fence or something before waking up. I never run into any enemies (thank god, being eaten by a like like is unpleasant enough onscreen) although I did once dream i was stuck in Malon's ranch.
I don't understand why I never get Pokemon dreams. I've played that game just as often, if not more.

I have my 'dream' house. It's a very large place, big enough that all my family and friends can stay over and have their own rooms (even though they're not always there in the dreams, but they do visit sometimes). Most of my dreams happen there. When I win the lottery, I'm getting it built.
I have it all planned out in my mind exactly. My favourite parts are the Aquarium room which has loads of rays and sharks swimming around, A large cacti house outside and a slide from the top floor roof garden down to the ground floor garden :D It's kind of weird, but I even have it all furnished and fitted out in my dreams, I know exactly what colour each room is painte, I even have pets with names that are living there. Monty and Jerry the dogs and a cat named Mozart o_0 No idea how they got there, as I don't even like cats lol
Anyhow, most of my dreaming takes place there, but a few times I'll end up somewhere completely different.

I don't think I have any places that I dream about frequently. Come to think of it, I don't believe that I really pay that much attention to the settings of my dreams; normally they're centered more on what's actually happening and the people involved.
I have had a few that occurred in particularly memorable locations, though. One was this extremely detailed, elaborate dream in which I was wandering through this huge mansion, and different sections were actually different realms belonging to individual gods and goddesses. Literally every room in that dream was something different, and they were all incredibly interesting and surprising. I don't know how my subconscious even came up with that dream, because I know I'm not that creative in real life.
I also had one once where I was driving down a street and crashed my vehicle in front of a large building that looked somewhat like a church, with stained glass windows and all of that. I went to inspect it and people inside tried to kill me, and later my friends and I returned and discovered it was some sort of hospital-type place where scientists had created a demonic cat that drank blood. We had to escape, and there were several other parts to it, like the church-type section and an abandoned warehouse we hid inside.
I've actually noticed, looking back on past dreams, that sometimes the locations are highly symbolic in my dreams. One that stands out in particular to me is this one I had in which I was with all of my friends from school, and we were sitting in an abandoned, broken bus at the edge of the fairgrounds, and no one whatsoever noticed us. I finally got up and left the bus and was wandering, and I came to a large, clear glass building. When I looked inside, one of my other friends, whom I talked to mainly on the Internet at that time, was inside with a large group of other random people, all dressed in formal clothing and playing a violin. No matter what I did, I couldn't get her attention, however. Now I realize that this was actually a perfect metaphor for how I felt in real life at the time, as I wanted to be closer friends with her in real life but found it difficult to do so because we were parts of very different groups of friends at the time.

The only reoccurring dream I had was when I was younger...
Very, unpleasant. It went on for quite awhile.
All I remember of it now is that it involved a creek, and a T-rex eating my cat. ;-;'' [I believe this around the time my cat ran away and I watched Jurassic Park for the first time. xDD (I now love JP, which is sooo ironic)]

Yes, I've got two.
There is one were I have to drive up a hill surounded by tall trees. Then I make a left, and there is an apartment complexe that houses most of my friends. Most of the time when we drive around the complexe there are small homes all around, and there is one that's always having a garage sale. (Selling many items in our schools colors.) Then when you walk into by backyard. You go to the right side of the house and there will be a small hallway made by trees leaning into one another. You have to walk close to the walls, otherwise you'll fall into a ditch.
Then once you reach out there, you get to a school. You have to run on a slanted walkway and enter the schools large doors. Then, I'm not really sure, I know that there is a class full of StarFish.
And there is a game we're you've got to protect an egg, or something like that...

That 's amazing :D. I feel like such a loser, I always dream Ocarina of Time cut-scenes, especially the one where Link jumps over the wall of Lon Lon Ranch XD I once had a dream where I had to do every boss in the game in a row, with no potions and on the three-heart challenge. Not only that, I was Link, so I had to be careful not to get hit, because catching on fire tends to make one lose their concentration. I finally did it, and I had to start on the Majora's Mask battle :gonk: I died halfway through Goht and woke up. That was probably the best dream I've ever had XD

Ever since I was little I've had dreams about driving down a dark road at night in my grandparent's old car. It's through a forested area. I think it's my subconscious's way of interpreting a road we used to drive down in Tennessee when I was younger. Another one is on a bridge on the island I used to live on. I've always had a fear of the bridges being blocked off and being trapped on the island though. XD

I usually dream terrible night-mares, that take place in varying places. There's all ways some sort of hazy fog, though, and figures in the distance I can never make out. It seems to me in my dream that they're just buildings, but when I stop and think, they seemed different.
Like the other day I dreamed I was in a parking lot by a new apartment I had moved into- a very ghetto, crappy apartment at that- and I was completely alone, just standing there. It was all hazy, and in the distance were huge towers, and mechanical spider-shaped things. It seemed like a normal parking lot setting to me, but when I woke up I realized it was out of the ordinary.

Most of my dreams either take place at my grandma's house (where I lived throughout most of my childhood), one of the houses we lived in when I lived with my mom, a Halloween store (or a regular store that's been decorated/stocked for Halloween), a haunted house (it usually has both an outdoor section and a large indoor area with several rooms), or an amusement park (with this very specific roller coaster I've been on a couple of times).
There's also a sort of dirty little old over-stocked pet shop that's shown up a few times, and a zoo/aquarium.

A lot of the time my dreams revolve around my house or cars.
However, I do have the odd dream where I'm in a place the makes no sense at all.
For example, I once dreamed that I was in a bright meodow and dinosaurs roamed free, but if you were to go to the edges of the meadow, all you would see was this endless sea of swirling purple, black, and blue.

I've never had the same setting for any of my dreams, unless I have a repeat of a dream.
And what's really weird, is that I can dream the future...But only on minor things. Like where I'm going, what building I'm going to enter that's not my house, and things my friend's buy.
It's really weird.
And I can predict what episodes of a series comes on. :|

My dreams tend to take place in different houses. Sometimes they'll be random houses I don't know about, or other times they'll be the house I lived in the longest when I was younger. I didn't like that house very much because a) of the street it was on (it was pretty shady) and b) of the stained/foggy glass window thing that was in the bathroom (I used to think if I showered after dark monsters would eat me ._.)

I often have dreams that take place in either my primary scool or my secondary school, but most of the time it's not actually a school. For example, I had one where I was in my secondary school, and I was pregnant, but it was a "hospital" and although there were no nurses/doctors/beds or anything "hospital-like" there, it was still a hospital, and I gave birth, with the aid of a boy from school who I'd never spoken to before, the only reason I even knew what he looked like was because he was in like 2 of my lessons. Very random.
When I was about 7, I had this terribly frightening reoccurring nightmare.
It always started in my primary school, it was "home time" and all the parents were there. In our school we had a play ground that was behind one of the buildings and little kids (kids my age) weren't supposed to go there, and in my dream me and my friends/other class members were playing there, when suddenly... A GIANT HAND comes around the corner of the building, followed by a monster's head - It was the "Ice Titan" from Disney's Hercules!!!
As his head came around the corner, he blew his frost breath, and I saw the other kids being frozen, and i heard screaming, and we were all running for the hall!!
Then, I was in the hall, looking for my sister and Nan (who was my legal guardian when I was young) hoping that they'd made it! I found them, and I was looking around and there were other kids crying and parents looking for their kids and oh it was so horrible. The first few times it scared me so bad that I woke up screaming and burst into tears, and one time I wet the bed...

My dreams actually vary place to place, but that's because the way I travel is video game style (meaning I can transport or fly or whatever I want to do). The one I had most recently had me in a volcano-type environment with lots of crazy monsters that moved really really fast. The day after I had the dream I played Star Ocean 3 and I through the story and bam! There was the dungeon from my dream, exactly the way I had remembered it, even the random small dragons that you don't fight. It was pretty awesome to be honest.

My dreams lately have been in a department store. I have no idea why but they always seem to feature a different department store. I never know the name of the store but they all look kinda like macy's, jc penny's, etc. I usually have the same people in my dreams as well. It's this general group of 20 people that always appear in my dreams and kinda rotate around.
Last night I was in a department store(like always) and about 16 of those 20 were with me. We had to pick our oversized zhu zhu pets and bring them to the roof of the department store so we could be hung from a helicopter and drop the pets in the ocean as some kind of offering.
I need to stop eating at night :I

I rarely have the same setting although I have repeated a few dreams or had continuations. those are pretty rare though. Lately I've been having dreams that look vaguely like videogames though or have plots like video games. I haven't even been playing since school started!
