I hear the expression a lot, but does it ever happen to you literally?

I'd say it has happened to me on a few occasions; I would get so bored that things actually stopped sounding interesting--even my favorite things--and that would frustrate me to no end because it didn't even make sense. XB I do really hate being bored, and when everything around me seems boring, it is certainly not a pleasant feeling.

And if this does happen, how do you go about fixing it?

Yesterday and well the beginning of today I was bored out of my mind. I am at home for reading week right now, and I could study for my classes..but I just really want to visit with my family. But they don't want to do anything, so yesterday I was just on Menewsha on and off...but it wasn't really doing it for me. So I just decided to do my homework...blah!

I find that when I am bored, I find that I eat...a lot. Which is probably not good.

Boredom-eating is definitely not good... but I used to do it a lot. Sometimes I still get tempted to, because I'm alone for a lot of the day and I get bored pretty often. >.< If I feel that I absolutely MUST snack, though, I try to make sure it's something small with very little impact--or I hunt for a piece of gum. So I'm doing better than I used to!

I really don't get bored very often. My life's not hugely exciting or anything, I'm just very content to do nothing in particular.
Some people get all sad when they say "I have nothing to do"
Me, I get happy.
Nothing to do = YAY!

XD There are times when I can sit still for hours and just daydream... but usually, especially if someone else is around (I can't let people see me do nothing), I crave some sort of activity.

bored to tears? never heard that one but sora has heard bored to death.
anyways, thankfully in this day and age, we have WYA more stuff than our parents did so we don't become bored, but somehow it happens once in awhile.
Sora really hates it when he's bored but doesn't want to do anything.......like if Sora tries to do something, it isn't fun for him.
anyways, Sora does the usual for un-getting bored like internet, coloring books (heck chyaa Sora still does that!), painting, drawing, listening to music, etc.

I miss coloring books... I keep thinking about getting one, but they seem so expensive now. > o> But I may have to at some point.

Hmmms It has never happen to me. And if I ever get bored I have plenty to do here at home :lol
