I have a problem with procrastination. I don't do it. I get things done too early and find myself very bored from it. If not for the avi sites online, I'd have a very boring time. I could go outside, but it's fairly cold.

Do you push things off to the last minute? Do you finish stuff too early?

IN fact what should you be doing right now? XD

I should be sleeping, as I'm really very tired, but the computer is more interesting than my bed, even if it is ten at night...

I always procrastinate. I will constantly sit there, and think, right, 300 words on this essay a day, and in a week or so, it's done. But then you skip a day, and skip a day and skip a day...
And then write 80% of it the day before you hand it in.

I was the classic keener -- I used to get school assignments done a month early because I hate having to think and to dread things -- I like to get things over and done with and just move on.

But then I graduated and became a journalist and tried to apply that ethic to my job -- but then the story would change completely before deadline and I had to redo things from scratch -- so I had to learn to procrastinate in a way, learning to monitor things and then do things when the timing was right...until I moved into writing nonfiction, and then had to relearn things again! Sheesh! :feesh:

I could be finishing the videogame I was playing, but I'd rather be online. XD

I guess I would like to go to the gym more often- I've only been like twice since I got this membership-but compared to my old one this one is kinda creepy and I feel very out of place there. For one I'm just there because they have a pool and the doc wanted me to continue my water aerobics/PT but most people there to use the pool are in it to swplash around or swim laps. I feel kinda all alone doing leg stretches and working out with water weights. For another there are some bizarre people that go there. I remember last time I picked a locker kinda far away from the main drag because I wanted to be left alone, but someone ended up taking up a locker right next to mine. She's all "Are you a born again Christian?" and I replied, "well...I'm Christian but I'm not born again per se..." and she continued "They're going to take our genitals, you know. All of them." I was kinda.... um....ok.... :O

What else do I need to do. Pick a major and fill out my college forms, I guess. I'm just no longer in love with my old major, but I'm having trouble figuring out a new one. I could drag along in my old one just to get on with applying, but I'm not sure I want to do that.

I guess I should be collecting my receipts for taxes. Because I don't make much I probably won't get a rebate (OR be charged, which is good!) but I kinda want my renter's one.

I have a couple of chapters to read in my Human Sexuality book, a couple of knitting projects to finish, and two chapters of astronomy homework to do tonight. Yeah. I procrastinate a little.

Oh. And a way overdue piece of artwork to do for somebody...yeah...I'ma do that first, tonight. *goes to get started*

I procrastinate so much, lol.
I should be studying for an exam right now, but I get too distracted by the interwebs. ;s
This happens all the time, too. ;p

I'm terrible about procrastinating. I do it all the time. x_x I can't help it. I'm usually in the middle of doing something I like to do, and I don't want to stop to do what needs to be done. A lot of times I end up doing homework stuff at the last minute. But last week when I went to class, I did everything. It's a three hour class, but we don't have to stay the whole time, and if we get our stuff done for the week we can leave. And most people do leave halfway through class. Well, I forced myself to stay almost the whole time. I got all my work done and then some. I don't have anything due until April now. So I am free for a bit. XD It is such a sense of relief. I still have to do stuff for my job though. >_< As it is, I have one thing I'm supposed to type up, but I'm going to wait until tomorrow, I think. XD Which is typical of me. But I always get that stuff done since I'm getting paid for it. Money is a good motivator.

OH GOSH! I did realize there are a few things I do procrastinate. Eating for sure. When I'm on the comp having fun in the morning I get sooo hungry and I put off eating to be all talkative. XD It's amazing what the internet can keep you from doing :O

Oh God! I'm constantly procrastinating!XD It happens very time I try to keep myself focused on something. Like my school work for example. I always leave everything in the last minute. I always rush through my assignments and try to make sure they are as perfect as I can possibly make them. It's quite a big pain in the butt. So I try not to procrastinate too much.

As everyone else, I'm terrible with procrastination. I'm trying to get better at managing my time, but I don't know how well that's going ;~;

I tend to procrastinate procastinating. I put stuff off by putting off putting it off. Its a wonder I ever get anything done. I tend to say I'll go get myself something from the store...then never do it. Ive lost out on chances to get a lottery ticket so many times by doing that.

Good lord...TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!!! I am a horrid procrastinator. There are oodles of things I should be doing at the moment. Working on fixing up my place, moderating, I am sure there's a bill or 18 that could have my attention...Unpacking...Working some more on fixing up my place....

Yeah, the list goes on.

Soooo....How do you NOT procrastinate? Cause, I am sooo good at it it's just..An art.

I procrastinate constantly. Even if it's a small school assignment, I'll put it off as much as possible. I really need to learn to break the habit considering this is my senior year in high school, but I'm having a tough time.

I'm not sure if I should call it procrastination..it's such a strong word. I'd rather call it a moment in relapse or something of that matter. > .>; Most of the time, I have the work right in front of me without doing anything..and I'll just stare at it. Like a zombie or something..

I think since I don't have school OR a job aside from my online job, I have tons of free time so when something does happen I finish fast because I'm so happy to be doing something XD

There's nothing wrong with getting things done before their due it gives you time to get feed back on whatever it was so that maybe you can go back and add things you didn't think of yourself or make corrections because maybe you missed something. It also makes your everyday life much more relaxing instead of always rushing around at the last minute. It also gives you more time for hobbies like online avy sites ;)

I always procrastinate. Especially with school work. I have about 3 papers I haven't even turned in yet. I have two tests I have to take. And I still have to finish my 2 paintings for art. Surprisingly, I make mostly A's and B's, but I hate school. I should really stop procrastinating because I do it all the time with everything, but I'm pretty comfortable with my life right now. So I guess procrastination works for me.
