Waking up, feeling like sh*t
Have you ever ate a little snack or something right before you took a nap?
Then you woke up, and you have the terrible, putrid breath of whatever you ate before you slept stuck in your mouth, and your stomach sometimes hurts, too? |
Haha. Yeah. Sometimes I go on onion binges. I'll eat them in a salad, followed by onion rings and them sauteed and placed on a burger. So...indeed. Lol. And after Italian can be bad too.
When I wake up and feel like shit, it's not usually from that, though. Lol. It's generally from sleeping in an awkward position and waking up to a cramped neck/back. |
I just try not to eat before I go to bed, because I already know I'm going to get a parched mouth, and food often causes me acid reflux anyway.
If I do eat before sleeping I try to take a rolaids and I gargle and brush my teeth. It doesn't prevent morning breath, but it usually means no nasty old food smell or taste. |
No...I can eat whatever I want before sleeping or napping and be fine...not even stale breath. I've always found that weird because everyone else I know complains about it. O_o
|
I get sick after and before eating regardless if I sleep or not. I hate when you can taste what you ate. Garlic is so yummy but horrible for that.

Always a great day when it starts off shitty...
|
I've never woken up with an upset stomach, but I'm used to my dragonbreath by now.
One thing you can do to prevent that is use mouthwash though. I thought simply brushing your teeth would make it stop, but then you just taste stale saliva and toothpaste. Mouthwash kinda neutralizes all that. :) |
Every once in a while. I'm more used to waking up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy.
