I myself have three small tats, and if they weren't so expensive to do I'd probably get more. I don't really like the look of people's skin who are stem to stern tats, but that may be because most of the folk I've known who had that many were kind of old, and tats don't always look so great if you don't touch them up every so often.

I'm not as fond of piercing. Some of the extreme pierced I know look kinda fugly IMO; I know this one dude who is really cute except he has those extremo ear lobe piercings with giant discs in them. I keep wondering if he doesn't realize how ick and dangly that's going to leave them when he decides one day to take out the jewelry!

I had pierced ears for awhile and I thought about getting a belly button piercing, but then I saw someone who's about my weight who had one, and it just looked unseemly on him, so I decided against. I let the holes in my ears close after awhile because cleaning and changing out the jewelry after a time got redundant, and I also got an earring caught on my hair once and started getting paranoid about tearing my flesh if I got caught on something stronger or if someone tugged my earrings out in a fight.

Anyway, enough about me....what do YOU think? :?

I was thinking about gauging my ears. I wouldn't go anything above a 0 myself because I think that's even a bit big and most of the time it doesn't look right. I have a belly ring, a nose, and a tattoo. I plan on getting a few more tats when I have the funds. I have the designs all drawn out I just need the funding. My artist also works kind of far away so that doesn't help either. I'm planning on getting spider bites pretty soon, maybe next week. I also want an eyebrow done but I rather wait on that and get my bites. My ears, I have four holes in one ear and five in the other plus a cartilage. I rarely wear earrings because they give me crap about it at work. Needless to say I love piercings. XD

Tattoos I love as well. I plan on getting at least 6. They're small so it's not like they're going to be in the way or anything. I want to be able to cover them up if I need to.

As for other people with body art, I think it depends on the person what types look good on them. Some people really can't pull off anything while others can pull off just about anything. It's all about how the body structure of the person works/doesn't work with it.

I think tattoos and piercings are extremely sexy if pulled off the right way. For example, my boyfriend doesn't have any piercings but he's covered in tattoos and continues to be absolutely delicious. I can't imagine him without them. I wouldn't mind if he got a piercing or two so long as it wasn't a nose stud. Men look ridiculous with them.

As for myself, I have my ears and cartilage done. I plan on getting my second holes and another cartilage piercing. I'd also like to get my nose done and maybe my lip and eyebrow some day. I'd also like a few tattoos, between four and six.

I don't have any and I do not want any. No tats, branding, piercing, etc. I don't have anything against other people having them, but I go through radical changes in my appearance all the time. I like working with a blank slate, have fun, then do something completely different. All of that stuff would just get in my way. Other people are different, and that's all right, too...

I really don't care either way. I have my lobes pierced as well as one in each cartilage, and my belly button (present from my bf).
I eventually want to get a few tattoos when I have the courage and funds. They're just small things I've drawn out that can be placed in non-obtrusive spots.
But I love seeing people that are 'clean slates' if you will. They always look so, I dunno different then people with body mods however small they may be.... Theres a difference in how they carry themselves...

I love tattoos and piercings. I sadly don't have any tattoos, but I am planning one for my nineteenth birthday, a celtic style butterfly on my shoulder with my name underneath. I've drawn it out before, and it looks gorgeous. Well, it looks gorgeous and me anyway. ^^

As for piercings, I have my ears done (lobes twice, the bit in the middle of my left ear, the top of my right ear), I have my nose done (left side) and I'm planning getting a Monroe stud on my right side.

I really love snake-bites though, I would love some, but I doubt I'll ever get them. My boyfriend has them though and they look great on him. He also has his septum pierced, and that looks amazing. If I didn't already have my nostril done and if I didn't love my nostril piercing, I would definitely get a septum piercing.

I have my ears pierced three times at the bottom and once in my cartlidge, I also have a tat as well. I want to get more but don't have the money for any more at the moment.

I have my ears pierced all along the outer edge, including three in each lobe, but I like small rings and studs, so it doesn't really stand out too much ( A minimalist style, ironically, with as many as I have). My favorite would have to be a thin spiral that loops through three of the holes in my left cuff, I made it myself. I would never gauge, and personally think most people look ridiculous with gauged ears. Small gauges can look neat, but it gets out of hand rather quickly, it seems.

I also have had body piercings, but I either took them out or lost them over the years. The last one was not too long ago, I had an eyebrow ring that got torn out when someone punched me. (Remember kiddies, piercings and rough housing never work well together.) As for tattoos, I have a few small tribals I designed, and plan on building on the one on my shoulder-blade when I have the money and someone with a steady enough hand. (lots of thin lines and detail)

I love gauges but I don't have my ears pierced. I'm to much of a wuss to get them but I think they look really cute.

And tattoos, I absolutely love them if it's drawn the right way. Because some tattoo artists don't draw very well or around in my area and should go back to an art class. When I turn 18, I'll be getting a homunculus tattoo on my wrist and probably a transmutation circle on my other wrist. I also wanted a pokeball. Oh! And the pixel form of ash and pikachu on my forearm ; o ; I'm a dork.

I like body modifications until they become extreme; to each their own, though. :)
I would have piercings if my job allowed it, but I recently got my first tattoo about two months ago and I can't wait for my next one! I haven't completely decided what I want to do yet, but I'm pretty sure I want sleeves. I just have to determine what exactly I want the sleeves to contain.
