Only if I'm getting ready for a bath and I don't have my clothes on, and I'm just walking across the house real quick bare naked to get to the bathroom. But if my little brother or my Dad is in the livingroom during so, I tell them to look away. XD If Mom's out there, I'm just quiet and head on over to the bathroom. ^^ |
I don't agree with walking around the house naked while children are around. Little kids running around naked sure. I let the boy I babysit do it after his bath so he can dry off more.
Sometimes kids just wanna be naked, but they need to know when it is appropriate to be naked. I'm not going to let him run around a birthday naked lol. I on the other hand do walk around my house naked if I'm home alone, or with the boyfriend. And I make sure the curtains are closed so no one else sees lol. I really hate wearing clothing when I'm trying to get comfortable. Pants get tight and shirts will ride up anyway. So yes I walk around naked lol. But I am thoughtful about it and no one else sees lol. |
I don't usually wear clothes when in my room. Outside i always wear clothes unless no one is home

My younger sister, Anna, and my mother walk around the house naked, and it annoys the hell out of me. I don't like walking out of my bedroom to run into my mother or sister butt naked. >.> When I was little, and my sister was little, we ran around the house naked... but I was really little then (don't remember it- just know because my parents have told me). Now, though, I'm not comfortable enough in my own home to walk around naked... I lock the bathroom door to the bathroom in my own home, too. Of all the people, my family are a few of the LAST people I'd want to see me naked. >.>
I actually really don't like seeing others naked. :/ I came home a few months ago to find my sister and her best friend walking around my house butt naked. >.> That actually annoyed the hell out of me. I mean, it's great that my sister and her friend are that comfortable with each other... but seriously it really wasn't something I want to see. |
Clair: I totally agree that there is a time or place for things. I lock the door too even though I'm comfortable being naked. I don't want to see my family naked or have them see me that way, and the bathroom is a private place! I hate when my mom leaves the door open and then complains when the animals come and sit next to her. If it bothered her that much she should SHUT the DOOR!
I guess after giving birth mothers just don't care anymore. I know I'm not gonna be like that, I mean the last thing you need is a call from the school saying your kid is running around naked. Lead by example. Be naked when it is appropriate lol |
I don't see the problem with it, personally. I wasn't raised by nudists or anything, but it's the human body. It's natural. |
No...I don't do that. The closest I do with that is because I forgot my towel in my room and I'm about to take a shower and I'm already undressed, haha.
Normally though I'd walk around in a t-shirt and underwear when people aren't over. |

If noone else is in the house I am in, 90% of the time I will most likely walk around shirtless, maybe even just walk around in my boxers.
The other 10%, is when I am completely naked, to be honest. |
I wouldn't do it now because I live with family and I don't think its appropriate for me to be walking around my big brother and little sister like that. So I would rather wait until I get my own house to try that out.

I prefer to be naked. I don't like to wear clothes and I especially hate pants. So yeah, I love to walk around my house naked. I don't do it when my parents are home NOT because I'm not comfortable with them, but because my step-mom has a quite large stick up her bum about nudity. (She believes that if my father saw me naked he would be immediately turned on despite the fact I'm his daughter. Makes no sense. It's like saying that you're sexually attracted to anything that moves.)
When I'm at my Mom's house, I'm able to be naked all I want. I was raised by her and nudity is nothing new to me. I've seen my Mom naked plenty of times and it hasn't scarred me in the least. It was actually helpful to see what my body would become when I got past maturity. And being comfortable naked with my Mom helped make me more comfortable when she taught me about tampons, pads, etc. and how to use them. If (and I doubt it will happen) I ever have kids, I will walk around naked in front of them. I would want them to be raised knowing what the human body looks like and show them that being naked is nothing to be embarrassed about, ashamed of, or scary. It's something normal. We weren't born with clothes, so why constantly live wearing them? Not to mention it would clear up any confusions about anatomy and stop that curious phase of them trying to look in the shower. So yes. I believe nudity is 100% okay. |
well, I don't have a problem with walking around in the house naked, but usually I'm wearing a sports bra and undies.. especially since I moved in with my dad. When it was just my mother and I, we wouldn't really care (though it wasn't all that often we just walked around naked).
When my husband and I get our own place, I've warned him I'm only gonna be walking around in a sports bra, and he's more than happy with that choice XD I don't think it has had any huge impact on my self image or anything.. I actually hated how I looked for so many years, until my wonderful husband convinced me otherwise. But I can see how for it would make for being less shy around nudity and such. I've never felt embarrassed about being nude, or seeing others nude, as many of my friends have. It's just a natural thing.. >_> |

I don't like to walk around naked, at home or elsewhere, even if I'm the only one around. I'm just not comfortable with my body and despite what the media (ironically enough) may say, it is not because of media's portrayal of "perfect bodies". Nudity has simply never been a large part of my life, and while I do not have much of an issue with others' nudity, it is not something that I tend to want for myself.

My mom walked around the house naked all the time when I was luttle. As I got older she stopped (thank goodness lol) but I guess her confidence has aided in my own. I prefer being naked. I sleep naked and walk around naked in my house when no one else is around.

Never reall seen it that way...I don't really see much problem with your kids seeing you naked...I wouldn't go around naked all the time, but if they happen to walk in on you getting out of the shower of something like that, I don't see it as taboo...
