I'm moving to another city and I'm very excited and wary at the same time. I have lived in the same place for 21 years, so I am very wary of a new place. But it seems really nice and I am still excited. I'll be starting college too, which is the main reason for the move!

Tell me about your moving stories! How long was the longest you lived in one area? And where was your favorite place to live?

I lived in the same house for over 20 years and a few years ago moved to where I am now. I love my house even though my apartment is tiny. I live in a duplex with my sister. We own it so we can do what we want with it which is nice.

I would love to move to California. I just love the warm weather down that way.

I can't stand moving :( longest place I lived was 9Years. Broke my heart when we had to move. Shortest place I lived at was monthS instead of years. I don't like the packing or unpacking. We recently moved into a home we bought. I hope we never have to move for a very very long time. Moved A lot when I was groWing up. One thing I don't want to put my boys,is what my parents put me thru. Different schools and leaving friends behind.

I have moved thirteen times, and the longest I've stayed in the same place is five and a half years. I've been in the same house for five and half years now, and before that, I didn't stay in the same house for more than a year. We had a Christmas in a new house every year. It was kind of exciting, but it hurt my ability to make long-lasting friendships with people.

I enjoy moving from place to place, and if I had to pick, I'd say my favorite place to live was Florida. The people are so wonderful down there and it's so much more accepting than North Carolina. Not to mention I was happier down there. (But I did meet my current boyfriend here and I'm so glad I have him. <3)

I absolutely LOATHE moving. When I was in K-12 schools they always asked me if my parent(s) were in the military because of all the frequent moving. I normally would have to transfer to a new school every 6-8 months.

Ooo, moving is hard -- I have so many books and I tend to do all my own moving -- the last move was really rough, but it is like a badge of honor when you do it...
