Elysium - Do people assume you do drugs because of it? People think I'm a stoner because I guess I sound like one (?). D:

Haha, I'm American born Chinese, had to relearn english during Kindergarten, sorry for all the grammar mistakes, switching languages is kind of hard to do on the fly. And while reading. And whilst whispering... It's kind of midnight.
This was FUN~!

Golden Goose: I have never been accused of that, lol. But that would be because I dress way too...um...gothic preppy? lol. To be confused for a stoner.
Almost every time I pick up the phone when somebody calls me they ask me if they woke me up, though. It doesn't matter how long they've known me. :XD It's like..no..no...I just always sound that way. Haha.
And, no. You don't sound like a stoner, lol. You kind of sound like me. Sarcastic sleepy.

I hope my Western accent melts your ears. Unfortunately it didn't record all that well, but hopefully it's intelligible. And I concur with everyone else: Knerd's voice sounds pretty!

@Estrella: Ha ha, well I'm an English teacher and apparently I sound a lot like the CD that comes along with the textbook we use too. On the bright side, it's pretty easy for my students to understand me.

I like it. I imagine your pronunciation of words is well done. I always say "pastor" and "pasture" no matter what. XD Other words, too, but that one is just my most recent fumble.

I guess I'll give it a try although I'm a bit nervous because I think my voice is terrible, it doesn't help that I'm still getting over a cold. I have an Albertan accent, one of the many Canadian accents.

1. Pop obviously. Soda makes me think of tonic water for some reason XD
2. Runners
3. Daddy Long Legs. Though I'm more likely to say "OMG A SPIDER D:" even though I know their not
4. Granny, Grandpa, and Nana
5. Buggy
6. "AWESOME" (sorry couldn't think of anything)
7. Remote and/or Clicky thing XDD
I wish I had a microphone, I'm Canadian and I say "eh?" a LOT. Which seems to be fascinating to Americans for some reason O.O It's proper grammar you know! It changes a statement into a question.

I definitely don't have an accent. Poor me, I've always wanted one. I don't have a mic either, so I can't show you how manly my voice sounds. Too bad, you all don't get to make fun of Bree!
Anyways. I can sort of answer the questions...

Soda.
Sneakers.
I think you described a Daddy Long Legs.
I used to call my grandfather Jaja, and my grandmother either Grandma or MaMa.
Shopping carts.
Sprinkling? I'm not good with weather. xD
A remote.
^^ I just proved my American-ness.

Hello everyone!
This looks terribly fun.
Here's mine.
On further thought, we very often call gym shoes "tennis shoes." Also "tennies." I call mine running shoes foremost because running is what I like to do. :)
Also, I sound like a Valley Girl? Many, many profuse apologies for this.
@Roachi: There's a girl at the coffee shop I'm really sweet on-- and she has your accent! Sort of. She's actually an Aussie, from the southern part, but they sound so similar!
I suppose that's in the same way that I sound like most people from the Western States, though. :P
Your accent is awesome.

Aw, you do sound like a little Valley Girl, but it's cute.
The only way that I can describe your accent is "fresh." You certainly don't sound like the New Yorkers I talk to every day.
