What was the best fieldtrip you ever had for school?
Mine was probably today's.. me and the rest of the njrotc team got to go to the park, and pick up trash for four hours. But I did get to make new friends, and we took a helload of hilarious photos and just did a bunch of fun stuff.
So, what's the best field trip you've ever been on?

Ohh, trash picking can be fun at times.
I used to volunteer all the time for beach clean ups. There wasn't really much trash but a ton of condoms..everywhere.
It was disgusting.
Hmm, my favorite field trip..was probably 2 years ago?
It was for VASE, an art comp. in Texas..I got to meet a lot of people from different regions and see their artwork.
It was a lot of fun. I went again this year but everything sucked because of all the budget cuts.

At University we did a 3 day trip in the Czech Republic, Prague.
Was great fun. The bus journey there was kind of hellish. 30something hours on a bus (each way!).
I never realised how big Germany was until we drove through it...twice. It went on forever o_0
Anyhow, once we got there, Prague was really worth it (although next time I'm flying). Beautiful city, friendly people (providing you keep a look out for pickpockets, but that's the same as most big cities really), and was very reasonably priced.
We had a full 3 days there, and one of the Lecturers set what she called "The Czech Challenge" and the winner would be whoever could stay awake the longest drinking nothing but Vodka. Anyone participating had to sit in the reception of the hotel all night to prove they stayed awake the whole time. I failed that challenge as I don't drink Vodka.
So I went to a nightclub with a few other students and one of the Lecturers, and we got him to dance the Macarena with us XD That was hilarious.
Then when it was time to go, one person won the Czech challenge by staying awake the entire 3 days. I have no clue how she managed that.

It was great fun, but I'm still not quite sure what the point of us going as a field trip was. We spent most of our time in pubs and clubs and didn't really do anything study related. Still, I wasn't complaining. It was nice to see a different side of the lecturers.

Lol. Well at least we know everyone at the beach uses protection...sunscreen, of course.

Mine was when I went to New York city to go to a couple of mueseums there, now that was awesome. Spent all day there with a group of friends and the mother of one of these friends, we didn't even spend the entire trip where we were supposed to be.

The best field trip I've been on was probably my seventh grade trip to COSI. It's a science museum with a lot of really interesting exhibits and I also got to hang out with my friends all day.

Hmm...Im going to say its a tie between the trip to Disneyland with the school band in grade 12, and the "Food and Wine Study Tour" of Portugal and Spain in college.

Disneyland was fun, because there were roughly 30-40 of us, let loose in Disneyland for a weekend. All teenagers, and all we had to do, was meet at certain places at certain times(usually so we could get out $5 for food...which was NOT enough). But getting to hang out with friends that were also in the band, going on all the rides we wanted to(Hollywood Tower of Terror 5x in a row, and the Bear Rapids of whatever it is 10x singing the Canadian National Anthem non stop ) and just enjoying the time. Not to mention the fact that the whole time I had two of the girls by my side(litterally hanging off my arms xD).

The Food and wine tour was awsome because it was 10 days of getting up at 7am, opening a few bottles of wine, getting on the bus, opening more, continueing drinking even while we were at the wineries and what not(usually drinking their stuff, or whatever we had hidden in water bottles), and not sleeping until probably 4am. 10 days of 45 drunker college students, enjoying food, taking whacky pictures, and overall enjoying their time was awsome. Even came home with a few bottles of goods. I kinda miss that whole group that went...I think I might end up getting as many people together as possible just for a reunion. >.>
