@colorsbold - I'm guessing not, judging from the lack of responses from them lol. I guess that's a good thing though, since I take back my earlier comment about not biting. I will bite. Hard. And I will not let go. Obsidian is not a happy camper after last nights game. NOT HAPPY AT ALL! All those goals they got on us were complete BS goals. Total flukes. And I can't believe nobody got a penalty when Samuelsson went down. He was totally tripped! And now his return is questionable. At least Kesler only missed one shift after getting a puck in the mouth. I don't think we can stand to lose any more players.
A few friends of mine were commenting on the game last night saying how they were almost yelling at their TVs, but instead hugging pillows and cringing. I was yelling. And screaming. And swearing. I do so every game. And congrats to the Wings the other night. Will they be able to do it again tonight? Guess we'll see. |

And we were in lead for so much of the game. Gah. I was with the kid cousins, fed them dinner. Little boy cousin would run away from our crafts project to the TV to check the score whenever we heard what sounded like a goal. :P We went on a scooter ride for the last 6 minutes plus. It was a great scooter ride! Still. Bleh. Canucks playing tomorrow. Good luck! |

I was at my friends house for the last game. She never really watched hockey, but her dad is a huge Nucks fan. I convinced her to watch the game and now I think I have her hooked lol. I'll be hanging out with her tomorrow night as well so I'll probably watch the game with her. Hopefully this time we'll win lol. And it looks like you're in the same boat I was for the last series. Canucks won the first three games, lost the next three, but finally pulled through in game seven. It will be interesting to see if your series plays out the same way. |

This is exactly what happened. My heart developed asthma. If was heaving and puffing. And dying and crying. We play you on Sunday. Aaaaah! :glomp: :O |
*melts into a gushy pile of Wing-fan goo*
...blaaargh, we'll have our revenge! *dabs eyes, because grown women don't cry* At least, as my father put it, we can now root for the Canucks without feeling bad. Because our nearest hockey city is Vancouver, they're really our *new* "home team," though no one can replace Motor City for me. :D |
Awwww... now I feel like that kid in the corner who's lonely 'cause he smells bad...
Let's all be friends, even though we're from different teams, 'kay? Because hockey= spilling blood on ice rink= sharing blood= "blood brothers"= eternal friendship. :P EDIT: also please don't hate me for the teal I like the teal I so rarely have team spirit ever for anything ever... Western Conference Finals Canucks- 1 Sharks- 0 Game 1: Canucks (3)- Sharks (2) |
I'm still rooting for the Canucks. I really hope they finally win the Cup :D
|
Canucks won last night?! SWEEEET I fell asleep.xD
|
Yep! They won. It was a really good game, too. I'm a little worried about the series; the Sharks have been playing nonstop, so I don't see how they could be any more on-form in the coming games than they were last night, you know? Meanwhile, it was a close game. :)
|
I went to the bar for the game last night. Have not seen so many Vancouver fans in this town before. I'm guessing lots of them are bandwagon fans but oh well. But yeah, it was a really good game. I have a feeling this is going to be another close series. I hereby promise to be civil (maybe even nice) to all Sharks fans during this series. But it seems almost everyone on here is a Nucks fan lol. Well don't worry colorsbold, we still love you anyways and promise not to bite.
|
Thank you! I am a very nice girl, I swear. It's good that we're not burning me at the stake.
|
@colorsbold - No problem lol. Though I did hear that a BC news cast put a man out onto the street wearing a Sharks uniform to see if he'd survive :P Anyways, let game two commence!
Edit: Man alive, what a game! Honestly, I won't be surprised if Eager gets suspended after that. That hit on Daniel was totally charging and should have been called as a five minute penalty. At least. Not to mention the rest of his antics throughout the game. I think that was the turning point for the Canucks (that and Bieksa's fight. God I love that guy XD). The Sharks were doing good up until that point and I thought it was going to be a close game. Then Eager made that hit on Daniel and, as they say, the gloves were off. I'm just really glad the Canucks are so disciplined. Under normal circumstances, a hit like that or when Eager was beaking off to Luongo would have brought the whole team down on him and you would have found one of our guys in the penalty box for the rest of the game. But since the Sharks do so good on power plays, they knew they had to play it smart and not get penalties. Anyways, it will be interesting to see how the league handles Eager. Either way, he cost the Sharks the game and I doubt he'll be playing on Friday. |
Haha did anyone catch it when Eager was sent to the penalty box and some girl flashed him? I didn't notice it while watching the game but it was pointed out to me afterwards xD
|
I haven't checked out any replays yet and I didn't notice it when it happened but my coworker told me when I got into work today. I couldn't stop laughing.
|
So Vancouver lost to Boston and now people in Vancouver are rioting. I'm glad I got home before the riot really got going.
