So now everything is about being green and this past couple of years, so many stores gave me reusable bags. So I was wondering if you guys have a lot too but have a favourite amongst them?

For me, I really love the Roots bag. It's small but it is sturdy. It has a simple olive green overall colour to it and just very neat. I tend to use it whenever I can.

What about you?

I have a personalized bag someone made for me that I use, but I don't forget to wash it frequently-- it really grosses me out what people do with reusable bags -- they put filthy shoes they walked in the dog park in and then put vegetables in it afterward -- blech!

I have this huge one that I use for food shopping. It holds a TON of food. I also have a smaller one that has a bunch of cats that I made a while back to put clothes in when I have to change clothes for work. I have yet another one that's actually an old t-shirt made into a bag that I use to carry things when I go for long walks. I do agree that not washing them is nasty.

I have two reusable bags that I just adore, even though the 'green' bags aren't the most aesthetically pleasing things ever invented. I have a black back with the words "Music is Life" on the front and a microphone twisted through the words, I take it with me on band trips. Then I have a Nightmare Before Christmas reusable bag that I just adore because I'm completely obsessed with Nightmare...

I bought myself some handmade cloth bags from Etsy for my grocery shopping, so I don't have to use plastic ones at all. I got them from this lady --> topfloortreasures on Etsy

I use a tote bag as my purse. So I almost never, never need a bag.
When I go to the library, though, I love using my little white and green Whole Foods bag. :)

(Most of the time that I go to the library I need one of the much bigger, black library bags. The little whole foods bag is a treat.)

I love reusable bags!
I banned plastic bags from our house altogether once my daughter started crawling, so we have collected quite a few of them now.

This is my favourite, from Shared Earth:

But for convenience, this is the one I use most often, also from Shared Earth:

It folds into a little pouch that I always keep in my purse, so I never forget to bring a bag.

My "reusable bag" is called a backpack. ;)

My partner and I go to our local co-op with backpacks (since we live in the city and walk everywhere, it's easier to carry) and this big plastic-netted/weaved tote bag that was a present from a former professor. We use these every week.

I have several resuable bags, but I hate using them because I find them annoying to tote around shopping AND people always seem to forget that they have them until right at the very end. I do use them when I remember that I have them, but I feel horrible having to hold up the line behind me because I use the reusable bags.
