Who's got a garden planned/planted for this summer?

We have a nice sized plot in the backyard that we typically use for Cucumbers, Zucchini, Green Beans, Green Peppers, and tomatoes. We got it in the rain a little slow due to the rain earlier this season making it hard to walk through, but hopefully all that weather will help everything grow better in the long run.

I would love to have a garden, but I live in an apartment building during the school year.

However, my family's house in Greece has tons of flowers and orange trees that just bloom naturally. lol

It's nice. ^_^

I'm not a gardener. Like, at all. And I recently even told my Mother this. But guess what she bought me last week? A little "grow your own cucumber garden"! They've been getting bigger, and I've been watering them in my windowsill every night. I love them a lot. XD :D

Well, my yard is sort of my mother's domain, so I can't just go out and start planting things. That being said, this year I've taken an interest in plants. I bought an asparagus plumosus (so soft!) transferred it to a stout, square glass jar, and that's sitting in my window. I'm using a fishbowl as a terrarium. I wasn't thinking and didn't put that in a window, so the contents died off, but I replaced them with some moss and mushrooms I harvested from the yard, and there's a viny thing in there still going strong. That resides by my window as well now.

Just a few hours ago I was at walmart buying some more plants, in fact! I'm going to set up a window box outside my bedroom window. The window box is quite large, and my plan is to put two Palace Purple Coral Bells at either end with one or two miniature pink roses in the middle. They look really nice together. Better yet, the roses were $8 the last time I saw them, but today they were marked down to $1.94! Woohoo! Also marked down was another plant I liked and ended up buying, Elijah Blue Festuca. So gorgeous! It's a little on the sorry side (hence it being in clearance,) but I'm confident in my ability to revive it. It's just so pretty. :D

Already I have ideas for my dream garden floating around in my head... Lots of shade, rich purples and deep greens. :)

I'm not big on gardening but I do have a few things planted around the house that's really low matainence -- like bushes and trees.

Not a gardening sort of chap, but I have helped my grandfather with his garden this season. We planted strawberries, zucchini, bell pepper, chilis, squash and other stuff that escape my memory at the moment. We also got some those upside down tomato plant dealies.

I just plowed a mini field for a veggie garden yesterday! I just need to get the plants sometime this week. I plan on growing some tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, squashes, beans, and maybe a bit of corn and sunflowers. I haven't decided what else I want to put in there yet. I also have a little herb garden on the side f my house. My lavender is already out of control. XD

I do! This is my first year growing anything successfully, and I'm super excited about it.

We've got radishes (pulled one up to check, not quite ready yet but well on their way), carrots of all different colours (orange, white, purple and yellow), beans and peas, and tiny green berries already peeking through on the raspberry plant.

The chive plant flowered too, so we've had yummy little purple flowers to put in salads and sprinkle on top of soups.
