I love a man with a little bit of scruff - not a Merlin, mind you, but a little bit of ruggedness. I'm a huge fan of goatees!

Hate beards. Hate mustaches more.

No offense, but not many men can pull it off. Like I told my friend a couple of days ago, a man can only pull off a beard if you can picture him being able to chop wood and hug you. Not at the same time, mind you. If one of these fail, he can not pull off a beard. Take Neil Patrick Harris. No one can picture him chopping wood, and he most certainly could not pull off a beard.

But in the eventuality that a guy can pull it off, you know he's a Man with a capital M.

Facial hair is awesome, but it does have it's limits like beards growing really long. Like Anaxilea said. c:
Moustaches and beards are especially awesome.

I love facial hair, when it's well groomed. A huge beard grosses me out.

The guy I'm seeing keeps talking about shaving his and I keep telling him not to. I really like it on him.

i prefer clean shaven or a little bit of stubble or something well kept and short - i'm really not a fan of the full-on face-eating beards... ^^;

My ex was always stubbly, like he had to shave every five hours to stay smooth. In the end I told him to just keep the beard rather than being scritchy. But usually I don't like facial hair, well... not on anyone my age. Nobody should have facial hair in high school... it's just weird.

On older men it looks ok though, as long as it's the same colour as their hair. I had this maths teacher with short grey hair, and a full on ginger beard. Once again.. it's just weird.

"Chop wood and hug you, though not at the same time."

Are you kidding? If he could SAFELY chop wood and hold me at the same time, I would be sincerely impressed!
That there's marryin' material.

Depends on the situation.

I don't like when guys my age (14-17) have too much facial hair.
I like when older men have really cool mustaches. I will legitimately walk up to a man and compliment him on his fantastic mustache if it passes my standards^^

My last boyfriend participated in "No-Shave November" and it was hell. Trying to kiss someone with light facial hair is super annoying and it kinda feels weird as well.

I buy fake mustaches and wear them into town with my friends, we get weird looks but thats because people are just jealous.

Both are totally awesome, but not everyone can pull off both.
As for myself, I have a rockin' ginger beard and I'm told by a lot of people that I'm able to pull it off.
The thing is, I have a very young looking face, so I look like a kid without a beard.
I've never tried for a 'stache, mainly because I don't feel like waiting around for it to grow in. It just looks awkward while it isn't finished yet.

Hmm, I'm not crazy over beards or moustaches. I do, however, think the five o'clock shadow thing going on is just absolutely hot. Especially when he has dark hair.

Facial hair doesn't do a thing for me, but I like to study guys with them -- it tells a story. A lot of young-looking guys do it to look older, except it makes them look like young guys with facial hair. Some guys try to hide perceived facial defects with it, which is silly. I never like when it is used as a mask -- but if a guy has one because he just wants one, whatever floats your boat...

I like beards and mustaches! My fiance looks so young when he shaves. I still think he looks good but just way young.
And I have this weird thing where I like to chew on his beard, like nibble on the ends of it. If he EVER starts storing food in his beard though... it's going.

Not to sound like an ass, but I think mustaches look....pedofile-lish. But I've always wanted a beard. I will be so happy when I can grow a beard. I just want to stroke it and and nod my head while going, "Aw yes, I see".

This is only when the man is also creepy. Dumbledore has a mustache and he's awesome.

I usually compliment 'staches that are curly or really, really awesome.
But I unfortunately do see your point.

True, Dumbledore isn't creepy at all. I guess you're right, it does depend on whether they're creepy or not.

I have seen a lot of creepy people in my life. Thats not a good thing either, but it does help when finding one with a sexy 'stache.

And beards are only cool when the guy looks like santa or a wizard.
