After you've blown a candle out, such as a candle from like, bath and body works or something, have you ever dipped your finger right into the wax, and let it harden on your finger?
I have like, an addiction to doing this right after I've blown a candle out. XD
It makes what I call, a finger glove.


And I like smelling it, too. It's just really fun to do, to me.
Has anyone else ever done this? It's so fun!

I do this every freakin time I blow out a candle. It's so much fun and it makes me feel like I'm 6 years old again. But when I stick my finger in it somehow fucks up the candle (according to my mom), so I have to do it when no one is looking. I do it to all my fingers and I like to touch people with them because it freaks them out.

I should really try this, isn't the wax hot though?

I tried it. It's......AWESOME.

When I was little (thirteenish) I had a candle on a hot plate next to my bed to scent my room. I used to do this ALL the time... until one day, I dropped the candle and it spilled wax all over my carpet! My mother was FURIOUS... and that was the end of my candles. :lol:

Ahahaha. XD

I used to play a lot with candles...I'd melt a candle and stick a piece of yarn in it and make my own crude DIY candle. :XD

I prefer using glue to make finger gloves though. :P

it's like a good burn feeling..

I love hot wax but not just for finger play. XD I have weird fetishes...XD That aside, I think it's interesting that it doesn't get too hot but hot enough to melt. Not too fun to try to get off of carpet or fabric of any kind though.

My friend tried this while at my house today,
she doesn't understand it though, she scooped the wax instead of dipping her finger in.
She's not quick with her thinking.

yeah sorry..I play with candle wax way to often. I like looking at all the finger ridges left in the wax. I have issues perhaps?

I love playing with candle wax. But I only do it with certain candles - I have special ones for meditation and the like, and a few spare ones for just playing with. Messing around with the wax makes them not as pretty and I don't want to ruin my meditation candles. They're for looking not touching. :lol:

My girlfriend plays with candle wax a lot more than I do. It's almost impossible for her to blow out a candle and not put her fingers in it.

I'm a wuss when it comes to pain, but if you give it even just a minute or two after blowing it out, it's more of a gentle warming feeling, not painful. :yes:

haha my husband and I do this XD for christmas we had a huge tray with 5 big candles, and we'd keep playing with them, and making small "candle wax lakes" and whatnot.. got kinda childish towards the end. (:

I'm surprised so many people have done this....I don't use candles usually and wouldn't think to try this anyway.

I wasn't allowed to light candles until I was 13...And even now, my dad HAS to be home, and he HAS to be aware that a candle is burning...I'll be 15 a few months from now. :lol: I'm tempted to inform him that I'm not six anymore; I know better than to play with matches...

As you can probably guess, I've never tried this. I'm sad now, because I really want to! It sounds so freaking cool!!!

Maybe tomorrow, I'll ask if I can light a candle while he's at work. (it's been quite a while since I last asked) If he says no, I'll exclaim, "BUT I JUST WANT TO MAKE FINGER GLOVES!!!!! :gonk:" XD Maybe it'll work?
