Unless you're going to have it sideways on it's going to be upside down to you, which is something my friend didn't realize until the tattoo artist told her.

She's working at a SubWay at the moment the manager there, thankfully is understanding, and she's now got to wear long sleeves all year round, but if she goes elsewhere for a job where they have a set staff uniform it's going to be a problem. Also when she goes for interviews it's going to be on show.

Really it does depend on what you decided to have done just the outline, full colour or shading because to make the tattoo show up best they have to use dark inks.

Thanks for the advice, I realised I haven't looked into it far enough so now I'm having second thoughts.. I want a job lol.
Maybe I'll get a back tattoo instead... Hopefully I can come up with something that won't seem too ... tramp stamp-ey if you know what I mean.

Placing is something you really have to think about becaue you don't want to have it done then think actually it would have looked better elsewhere.

If you do decided on somewhere which is veiny then the best thing to do is talk to tattoo artist because some will and some won't tattoo over lots of veins.

The only thing I would say is get the names of tattoo parlours and give them an internet search because that gives you a good idea of what the place is like from people who've been there.

I like tattoos, but when the're all over people and so obvious and just ugly, I hate them. Like sleeve tattoos. They just looked cluttered and ridiculous.
But simply, nice tattoos are pretty to me.
I've all ways wanted "Second star to the right, and straight on until morning." written either wrapping around my leg, or across my lower stomach. It's a Star Trek quote, btw. xD
