Purikura!
I was wondering if anyone's ever taken purikura before? I was looking through my old photobucket and found one. One of my friends and I used to take them all the time when we had booths at our local mall. Now they are gone and I am very sad.
So, let's talk about purikura. Have you ever tried it? Do you want to? Post your pictures if you have any! I think they are amusing. :) |

I used one once. I don't think I have the pictures any more. It was back when I was in high school some 11 years ago. My best friend at the time and I were at a mall and decided to try it.

yea, me and my friends used to go a lot. we actually haven't gone in the past year or so though...I'd really like to go again with them. I keep all my purikura in a little booklet, but i don't know where it's got to and that makes me sad...>.<

I thought by the term 'TAKE purikura' that you were talking about a medication. lolz.
My bestie and I took pics in a mall booth once years ago. I still have them but I don't post my picture anywhere by facebook. |
most of the malls near me, if they have booths, are those american ones that aren't much fun, I much prefer the japanese ones that I can only find in one place right now.

I vaguely remember those from a few years ago, don't think there's anything around here that's close to it. If there is it's probably in a place where I haven't been to in a while.

I only know of two places that have Purikura near me but the one place closed down awhile ago haha and the other one is in a mall I've never been too >w< Hopefully one day I will go! Purikuras seem sooo cute!^^

we do the exact same thing, except we fight over who gets the pen to decorate with...the time always freezes at 60 seconds for some reason.

When I was in Korea, they had a huge venue downtown full of purikura booths. Since we were in a hurry and didn't want to go to a photo studio, my friends and I took several pictures. I rather liked being able to see myself so I can adjust my pose and expression to something more flattering. xD Since it was all in Japanese and we were hurting on time, we never decorated them. They just looked so flat out silly, and we were able to split the photos amongst ourselves.

lol well if you ever do get the chance again, try decorating, you can make silly things even sillier XD I remember once a group of us did a pose of everybody pushing me off screen and then we drew all over it and added an arrow that said 'PWND' on top of me XD
