Ha! Well, you know, some families are different than others. XD I didn't care much, to be honest, I'm one of those people who don't give a rat's ass about what families think of me as long as the person I'm with loves me. But it was pretty entertaining to say the least. His father refused to even make eye contact with me when he finally left the room and joined the rest of the family. It didn't help that I was taller than him, but oh well. I have a ton of inside jokes with my friends about him, one including him having a shotgun pointed at me if I ever went to his house. Poor man. My ex isn't aware of these jokes. I feel a bit sorry for him, or I would, if he hadn't been such a prick to me.

I think I'll try and not meet anymore families in the near future, though, just in case I ever date a guy who needs his parent's approval of me. I'm not sure I'll ever be approved. XD

Yikes... it's stories like these that make me super scared to meet my boyfriend's parents. He doesn't talk about them much, so I'd have no idea what to expect. He also has two siblings, and as silly as it sounds, I feel like that brings even a little more pressure xD I never thought about it before, but the only guys I've ever dated have been only children, or had siblings so much older than them that they were away in college or moved out.

@Anaxilea - Oh I know how you feel about siblings! The guy I'm dating right now really adores his little sister and so when I met her the first time I was really nervous about what she would think!

Siblings can be even more judgemental sometimes! They will hound their sibling in front of you...I feel like parents at least will wait until you leave the room XD

Ana, don't be scared. These things are one in a million. ;D I think siblings are super cute. My ex had a little one the same age as my brother, so I was very comfortable around him. Heck it was his first communion went I went to their house the first time. The kid didn't mind me much, I think. Plus he's super cute. Was? Is? Not sure anymore. XD A bit bratty from what I heard, but super cute. Man that family has some nice genes.

My current relationship.. I am a bit scared to meet his parents,
he's Malaysian with Malaysian parents.. XD Um, they think I'm
a sweet, shy, little Chinese girl who goes by the name Rebecca
or something? XD I can't remember the name he told me, haha!
But yeah, I'm actually a white(completely white) loud-mouthed,
stubborn, strong-willed, yet somehow polite American gurl. :u

Though, I think his mom'll approve of me since she comes to my
state annually.. ;w; I dunno about his dad. HAH! Though, he has
nothing to worry about when meeting my parents.. My parents are
