Hulu itself seems to be free, Hulu plus looks like it is 7.99. I know Hulu has adds, but I haven't used it in ages. I know Hulu and Hulu plus both have movies...My guess is that Hulu Plus has more movies, but I really don't know the difference between the two.

I'm pretty sure Hulu only has movies on TV, because it's a TV site, but I haven't watched enough of it to know for sure. Regular Hulu has a LOT of ads, and my friend says Hulu+ still has ads, just not as many.

As far as Netflix goes... I don't know what I'm going to do yet. :/ I already stopped having DVDs delivered because it got too expensive and I wanted to have Gamefly as well. I'd probably go back to torrenting movies if I didn't have Netflix at all.

I stopped torrenting altogether a while ago, but I think we'll probably keep both services.
Even though it's two separate companies, the prices still haven't changed. And with the video game additions, I'm fairly certain we're at least keeping Qwikster. xD

what is 'torrenting' movies?
so hulu has ads like fear net has ads.
i am kind of used to fear net and seeing ads, it's like an intermission to me.

Wow, I got something like a 50% rate hike if I wanted to keep both services Rosasharn, how'd you manage to not get a rate hike? Hey, did you hear they decided not to do the Quickster thing:) I'm glad that Quickster never made it out of the "theory" stage!

yep, they said they thought it was wiser to keep netflix the way it was due to the outrage and loss of over a million customers in one month!
it's nice to see customers have a say in some things.
