Septums are another that really depend on the person. I had a friend years ago who I never thought was anything special and then he got his done and I wanted to bone him like no tomorrow :rofl:

I have my bellybutton pierced. It's a pain in the arse to be honest, had it done 10 years and it's never healed :/ Recently bought a PTFE bar because I'm clearly llergic to lumps of metal in my body, it's finally finishing healing now!

Surgical steel is the way to go.

Vix, I'm allergic to that in the amount/depth of a navel piercing :( I got the least amount of gunk and bleeding from using a gold bar, but that has a star-shaped crystal on it, the top of which used to dig in when I was sleeping, so that generated its own gunk and bleeding >_>

My only issue now is the original piercing canal. It closed up once you see, I used to take the bar out to shower, in the hope of flushing it though. I wandered about one day before getting in the shower and the bar was out for maybe 30 minutes, and I couldn't get it back in. Got it re-pierced about 6 months later. The issue here was the original piercing was a stupid size :lol: Bloke used a 11mm bar for reasons best known to himself, it's a 10mm one now, but in recent months I've had a minor problem with the skin just one one side of the hole at the top of the piercing.

It got red like a blood blister and itched slightly, so I poked it gently and a bunch of pus came out of it, and it's been doing that ever since. This is over a bit of very minor scar tissue where the first piercing came out. It's doesn't itch any more and isn't sore in any way, it just persistently forms a little head like a spot every few days. I still hold out hope that it's going to heal completely though, as the skin on the other side, which also looked like scar tissue, looks fine now.

My main beef now is PTFE bars seem to be aimed in the main at pregnant teenagers xD It's no issue to cut them down to the right length, but most of the balls for them are neon rave shit, which I do not want :lol:

It's not such a problem with earrings for me, though ones made from nasty metal with often make my ears itch like mad so I have to take them out. But I got my ears pierced 32 years ago so that's just a topical irritation. With my belly button the allergy has prevented it from ever healing fully, which is tiresome : /

At least it's healing now ._.
...And now I have all the incentive to never ever get any more piercings.. X'D :lol:
