I generally avoid taking sick days whenever possible -- I have to be REALLY miserable to call in to work. This makes me feel less guilty when I use my 'sick' days as 'mental health' days. I mean, I earned them by the number of hours I worked last year, so I should be able to take them whenever I like.

The longest I've ever been out sick? 2 months and counting -- I'm on short-term disability right now due to pregnancy complications, and I'M GOING BATTY!! Once the baby gets here I'll have plenty to do but right now I just hate sitting at home all the time!! >.<

Sora actually had to skip some classes so he could have an early Thanksgiving with his family (Mom goes back to work the day of Thanksgiving)
He only feels respeconsible/guilty when the class is actually needed to do something or knows he'll have an assignment on that day.
Only reasons why Sora did skip the 2 classes is because
1. One wasn't needed (at home work)
2. Hate the class (more like the teacher) XDD

Well! This is refreshing in a way. I've been getting sick, so I'm glad that I have a week off from school for Thanksgiving. (Thank God.)

When I was younger, I didn't feel guilty at all! Only because I had a ton of medical problems, etc. Now that I'm a Junior in High school; I feel a little big worried when I skip out on school. I have a lot of things going for me that require me to attend certain classes, so when I don't go, I sort of panick.

Lately, I think I've been doing okay. I have missed 3/5 days the past week, but I have all my homework and assignments, so that's okay. I have faked sick before, which is why I didn't attend this week, haha! I haven't had the will lately to go to school, but that will change after the break, I'm sure of it.

The longest time I've been away from school was about two weeks when I had strep throat and that was Freshman year! xD Ah, I'm a sickling, but it's all good. My health has improved tremendously. (Also my attendance!)

I hope you feel much better, dear!~

Through primary and secondary school (11 years) i probably had no more than 7 days off, with three of thee of those being in my very last year.
In uni, i've missed about three days, and the odd lecture. The most recent time i was taken to hospital with what will be a recurring issue...It upsets me to think i'll have to have time off work in the future because of it.

I don't hold a full time job, but i'd vary rarely cry off work for being ill. I just don't really catch much! And you're encouraged to share, so i'll take a cold sometimes, and see if anyone wants it!

Hope you feel better soon too!

I can't call out sick from work, they'll write me up each and every time. Same with going home sick, it's poo-pooed upon. They'd rather you be miserable around the customers than at home healing up. I won't say who I work for, cause someone somewhere may rat me out for saying this sad truth.
