Ok, this has happened to me twice today... Do any of you ever hear a noise where afterwards you think to yourself, "What on earth was that, and where did it even come from???" Like it didn't come from outside, and your dog most likely wasn't the cause...

I feel like it was a different noise, that my mind was so focused on something else, that it picked up on the noise at like, the tail end of it or something, and even told me the wrong direction from which it came lol Just now I heard the weirdest squeaking type sound, from my chest... I don't think that really happened. But maybe I'm just crazy? Lol

This happens to me nearly all the time! D: It's usually one of my posters or something falling off my walls though, the blu tack and sticky dots don't seem to work on the paintwork in this house. ;O;

This happens to me a lot! It's not like Cassette though, who finds the reason. I often hear *ACTUAL* noises or voices inside my head, and they sound realistic. It's really scaryy~:cry:

This reminds me of something that happened to me a few years ago. I was sitting in my room drawing, and suddenly out of nowhere, I heard this weird growling noise. I probably would've panicked, but I happened to glance down right at that moment... and I realized it was my cat snoring. xD

Once upon a time, I was online late at night waiting for my sister's family to come home.

Then around midnight, there was loud banging on the doors like someone was hitting it with all they've got. It was sudden and forceful and freaked me out.

...I wanted to go out but at the same time, I wanted to stay safe so I waited it out until it was over before venturing out.

My mom was fast asleep then and when I asked her, she's all 'What banging?'

...I figured it was the dog. =u=; But oh my... The dog doesn't do that. :gonk:

Another would be the time...

At our old house... Me and my two sisters were chilling (more like basking in our sweat xD) at the living room after dinner. We talked about my second sister's pregnancy and how everyone was excited for it.

Then my eldest sister (for the luls though she looked pretty serious) told us about the rumor that there was a witch who lived nearby. As in black witch sort. The destructive, negative energy sort who...stuck to just being destructive and didn't switch from this and that affiliation. Her basis? There had been instances where they would find this...giant black bird pecking their orchids to death. The weird thing was, when the bird was found it's cawing was very faint but the farther it went, the louder the cawing. Meaning it's the reverse. ^o^;

And in local folklore... That's none other than a witch's familiar.

One of their favorites (for dish or spell, I'm not quite sure, I didn't study/read up hard enough about local black witches, too freaky business for me since I'm more into white energies) happen to be...undelivered babies.

So day in, day out since my pregnant sister arrived, we kept hearing that conspicuous cawing until she gave birth. 8'D I never saw so much praying since that bird came to religiously visit our house.

I know it's half folklore, half WTF but... I will forever consider that bird cawing creepy.

>_>; Does this count?

This one time I woke up to a banging noise on my backdoor. I didn't realize it was windy out and it sounded like someone was trying to break into my house. It was shortly after I moved out of my parents house and I did not know the neighbors or anything. It was just creepy at the time.

My house makes creaking noises all the time and one time I heard something fall in the attic or something was up there, it was pretty freaky o_o; I stayed outside for like an hour after that happened.

I could hear the weirdest wheezy squeaking noise in my kitchen one day. I was very, "WTF is that!!!" Then I realised :lol:

I'd rinsed out a plastic cap from an emptied milk container and put on the draining board to dry before I put it in the recycling. As it was on a flat surface air had got trapped under it, the noise was the air escaping :ninja:
